🌟Terms and Conditions 2024🌟
These simple policies ensure that all families are treated fairly and equally and keep my small tutoring business running smoothly.
Families are emailed my full terms and conditions when they start regular tutoring sessions with me. In summary:
⭐Payment for lessons is due 48 hours in advance. Your child's time slot is reserved for them and tutoring is a weekly term-time commitment.
⭐Cancellations need to be 48 hours ahead of your appointment (one permitted per term), after that sessions are non refundable.
⭐Please remember to update me of any changes to your contact details as well as any additional learning needs, allergies or medical concerns.
I am currently fully booked for regular weekly term time lessons. Many thanks to all my lovely families for your continued support. I love working with your children.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to join my waiting list. If you feel your child might benefit from some focused support in the future, it's worth getting in touch now and I will add you to my list. When a space does come up it tends to go very quickly!
Just let me know your child's name, year group and whether they need help with English, maths or a mix of both, as well as your preferred days for weekday after school or daytime (home ed) sessions. Many thanks.

Making sure that children become engaged with reading from the beginning is one of the most important ways to make a difference to children's life chances.
Promoting the importance of reading starts way before children are actually matching letters to their sounds. Sharing books together, singing nursery rhymes and developing speaking and listening skills transforms children's attitudes to reading and are at the core of becoming committed and enthusiastic readers.
Reading:
*expands vocabulary
*develops imagination
*encourages concentration and focus
*promotes empathy
*makes the reader aware of other views and opinions
*teaches us about the world around us
*provides the chance to access the whole curriculum
*develops expression
*provides ideas
*improves memory
