With seeing all the signs round Wokingham I just want to make it clear the level crossing is still open and you can still get down EastHampstead Road but it is closed after Heathlands Road. With the signs not being clear we have had a very quite week here! The crossing and road is open and soo are we!

💚🚨💚🚨💚 Final message about the MacMillan longest golf,

Hi all,

Thanks to everyone’s donations we raised £2,350 which is beyond our wildest dreams when we agreed to the 72 hole challenge.

The day we decided to undertake the challenge turned out to be the hottest day of the year 🥵🥵 This added another level to the challenge but we both felt overjoyed and very proud that we did it.

I think we both must be suffering from heat stroke as we are talking about doing the next level of challenge which is playing 100 holes in a day 😱

Once again many thanks for all your donations which I am sure will help a lot of people.

The MacMillan page is now closed but pots will still be on the bar.

Hi all,

We are finally doing the 72 hole challenge tomorrow and we are aiming to start at 05:30 at Downshire.

Downshire Golf Complex are supporting us with a buggy and free golf which we are very thankful for particularly when the temperatures are forecast to be high 20 and even 30 degrees at points. What has happened to the rain ☔️

We are blown away with the amount of money and encouragement we have received and donations have topped £1,500 which is amazing.

We will be posting on the White Horse at Wokingham page so if you want to see how we are getting on have a look. If you fancy walking a few holes with us or just popping along to say hi or even sending us a message then that would be great as I am sure we may be flagging a bit at certain times.
