👋🏻 We have some news….

We’re sad to announce that The Coffee Nook will be permanently closing on 8th September 2024.

We were so excited to have our own coffee shop and we’ve loved serving each and every one of our customers. It’s been a privilege to be able to have a crack at something we’ve talked about for so many years.

But the reality is, in the relatively short time we’ve been open our costs have continuously risen and the demand just hasn’t been at a level to make this business sustainable.

Having never done anything like this before, we didn’t quite know what to expect. We have no regrets we gave this thing a go, but we’ve had to accept it hasn’t worked out on this occasion. Rest assured our love for coffee is stronger than ever, we’ll just spend our weekends supporting other local independents rather than serving them! ☕️

We want to take a moment to thank all staff we’ve had work for us, it’s been a pleasure having all of you as part of the team at The Nook. We couldn’t have done it without you.

And of course our customers. Whether you’ve been in once or 100 times - we’re sincerely grateful for the support. We’ve met so many great people since we opened.

A final thanks is reserved for our landlord who has been unbelievably supportive during this decision. They’ve made a really difficult period as smooth as we could have possibly hoped for.

We will continue to trade to 8th September, but our opening times will be amended from w/c 5th August, as follows:

Monday - 08:30-16:00
Tuesday - CLOSED
Wednesday - CLOSED
Thursday - 08:30-16:00
Friday - 08:30-16:00
Saturday - 09:00-16:00
Sunday - 09:00-15:00

We’ll be open with normal hours until Monday 5th August.
