Work on the easel today.. coming along nicely ☺️

Working on some wooden hanging hearts today. I know you all love these for little gifts. I will have a few made up for the studio next weekend.

My paintings are truly one of a kind, this one called 'The beauty of the Dandelion'. The Crow envelops a Dandelion flower (Dandelions represent the sun). She waits for the Dandelion clocks to tell her the exact time when she must fly up and replace the Moon with the Dandelion Sun. My imaginary story, my artwork. 1m x 80cm £450.00 plus postage. UK only.

I have people asking how I did this technique so I will endeavour to explain. I started off with a paint pour acrylic and did a tin foil pull for texture. Then I found the shapes and lines I wanted to work with. Scored in to the wet paint. Let it dry completely for a couple of days. Added hot melt enamel paint with a blow torch in areas then worked in some oil pastel and wax crayon for highlights and sealed. Then worked in the detail with acrylics heavy based. Finishes off with a gold Pebeo liner paint and picked out places in acrylic ink. Then sealed completely. Phew...these are the results. And...yes it's for sale. Details in the comments. NOW SOLD Another little Moon gazing Hare just about to hop in to the studio. 8 x 8 inches on board acrylic.
