Camelidynamics Alpaca and Llama Course
Being an alpaca owner involves acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to look after your animals. This includes learning to assess health, measure body condition, give injections, provide adequate nutrition and handle the alpacas in a kind and stress free way, amongst other skills.
Camelidynamics will give you the skills to build a relationship with your animals based on trust rather than resorting to coercion and force. It will make all of these tasks easier for you and your animals.
Learning doesn’t happen overnight. It’s something that builds over time, the more you read, practice and seek to understand. And learning is best done with a community of like minded individuals.

Working With Alpacas and Llamas in Animal Assisted Activity Course
11th-13th May

This is a three day course aimed at those who would like to work with their animals in Animal Assisted Activities(AAA) for the well-being of others. It does not allow you to offer or call your activities "therapy". In order to call any animal activity "therapy" the handler must have a recognised qualification that would allow them to offer therapy in the absence of the animal.
You will leave with knowledge of the history of animal interventions, of the practical application of Camelidynamics handling skills, practical, legal and ethical considerations in programme planning and some ideas about how to work alongside alpacas for the physical and psychological benefit of others.
The course is delivered in a mix of theory and animal practicals.
