If you have an unwanted Halloween books, decorations, fancy dress and accessories or costumes that no longer fit we would love your donations! We’re happy to take baby, toddler and preschool aged items as well. Drop off in the COSA bin outside the school office by Friday 18th October.

Join our lovely COSA volunteer Leanna for a spot of gardening on Thursday 17th October from 2-3.10pm.

We’ll be tidying up the flower beds and planters, adding some pops of autumn colour 🌼 and shade loving plants 🌿 to the Forest School area

No gardening experience necessary!

We’ve almost made it to the end of September before mentioning the C word 🎄❄️⛄️🤣

The 🍒 children have been busy creating their own designs 🌠🌌 for Christmas cards over the last couple of weeks! These design sheets have been packed up and sent off 📦📮 to the printing company (by Alyssa and Becky, our fantastic COSA volunteer duo 🤩) to prepare the individual order forms

IQ Cards offer a range of excellent Christmas cards and gift options at reasonable prices and COSA receives commission on all orders placed which is a big boost to the fundraising efforts 🥳

We’ll let you know once your child’s order form is on its way and thank you in advance for your orders 😊

📢 We’re excited to announce we’re looking for a Vice-Secretary to join us as a new COSA Committee Member!

If you’re the kind of person who loves to organise and document everything 🤩, this is perfect role for you! You’ll get to put your great record keeping ✍🏻💻 and attention to detail skills to good use as our Vice-Secretary.

🍒 This new role, as well as the existing committee member roles (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Vice-Treasurer) will all be up for election at our AGM on Monday 14th October at school. Teas and coffees ☕️🍪 will be available from 7.15pm for a 7.30pm meeting start

Between 2nd September and 30th November 2024, every time customers shop 🛒 with Asda using their Rewards app, the supermarket will donate 0.5% of the value of their shop to their chosen primary school. And that’s not all. For every customer who chooses Cherry Orchard Primary School, Asda will put £1 into our school’s Cashpot, and another £50 when our school’s first opted-in customer spends in-store or online!
