A message from Jackie regarding the Ukraine appeal

The van is ready for the first journey, I just want to thank each and every one of you that has contributed, this load is at full capacity of 1700kg. It will be going again on Thursday 24th March. By this time, dog food will be allowed. Apart from that, only baby and young child goods is requested. If you still have anything, please drop it off before then. Once again - thank you!

A neighbour is organising a large van to travel to Poland with supplies for the Ukrainian refugees, this will be either next weekend or the weekend after. They are concentrating on supplies for the babies and children. If you have any baby/children's clothes or can donate nappies, baby wipes, dry baby milk etc. we would be very grateful. They are also taking dry dog food. If you can spare anything, please put your donations into bags and label them (they have to have a list of what is in the vehicle for border control, it also helps to distribute faster at the destination). We are acting as a collection and drop off point for donations. If you are unable to drop off, please message me and we will try to collect.

The Monday Night Quiz is back from 21st February with a new start time of 8.30pm
