Here are our dates for you to come and spend time with loved ones, whether that be your spouses, partners, family and friends. We want you to spend time with those who mean the world to you.

I won’t be doing a set menu as I am very conscious of the times we are living in. So there will be specials on over the weekend for you all to share with your special people. Sharing boards and some other new dishes.

We want people to come out and spend what they can afford but have any amazing time enjoying food and drinks.

We will of course be having Valentine cocktails, I wouldn’t even dream of not having some, as I know how much you love coming and enjoying them with us.

Hope you all had an amazing time over Christmas & New Year.

I have a lot to deal with personally. So due to commitments of hospitals etc I have taken the decision to only open on Friday and Saturdays throughout January. But if it all becomes too much then I will have to really revaluate everything. Family comes first. Always!

I like to be transparent and wear my heart on my sleeve. As this how I am and always will be.

So if any of you fancy visiting us this 2023. We open our doors as from this Friday at 5.30pm. The same for Saturday. No need to book, just walk in. Thanks again for your support throughout 2022. Very much appreciated. From the bottom of our hearts… Thank you ❤️

Just a little announcement.

We are now closed until the 13.01.2022. I appreciate people have been trying to book in before. But this Christmas and New Year is a very precious one to my family and I. We had a devastating diagnosis in the family before Christmas and we just want to make the most of it. I don’t want to go in to too much detail, but I hope this explains as to why we aren’t opening over the New Year celebrations.

Whatever you have planned, whether it be a quite one or mad one. Enjoy it all and make sure you make the most of the time you have with your loved ones, as you never know this could be their last one.

A quick pop into this morning, to make sure my little floof Reggie, has got plenty of snap.

I’ve personally used them for as long as I can remember. Love the easy parking and the amount of choice they have in.
Also it’s great you can take your pets in with you and have a shopping experience together!

I buy all our wild bird food from here, Reggie’s treats, along with treats for all the fabulous doggies which visit The Malt House. Reggie loves the fruit sticks from here 🥰

I’ve told Reggie he’s got to be good birb, if not Santa won’t be dropping pressies off this Christmas 😂

But honestly, it’s a great independent business, which has been around for years. And I’m sure it will be for many years to come.

Gin on a school night!

Last night I popped along to the Shireoaks Village Hall, with the Shireoaks Womens Institute. Where I was invited to attend a Gin Tasting with the fabulous from Nottingham.

How could I refuse? There was gin and it’s made in my home city. The lovely Wayne, who owns and makes the gins, gave a great talk about his gins. The history of gin names, the legal side of making gin, then we got to taste delicious gins.

Redsmith is the only gin distillery in Nottingham and is based in Snienton Market. If you’ve not been, it’s had a massive facelift. Full of independents and is also home to various craft breweries. There’s quite a few pubs in the area as well. The Pretty Windows pub, as I know it, is called the Fox & Grapes and owned Castle Rock Brewery. A beautiful building if you ever fancy a visit. Lots of history to it as well.

Out in town this morning after being at the fantastic for the Wednesday Morning Craft Group. I really don’t know what I would of done if it hadn’t been for this place and the support they have given my family and I. It deserves every bit of funding it gets.

So had a little disaster this morning. My back door snapped off and broke! There was only one place for it and that was Worksop Heel Bar. Used this place since I can remember. Always helpful and the prices are reasonable as always. Thanks for sorting my key out guys. Another Worksop business, supporting another Worksop business.

We’re back open tomorrow night from 5.30pm. Our Menu Rapido is proving to be popular over recent weeks.

At The Ashley on Carlton Road, they are having a table where you can pop in with a little gift, then they will make sure it goes to the Children’s Ward at Bassetlaw Hospital.

A full on week, deserves to be fuelled the right way. We love supporting businesses in our town and it’s always a pleasure seeing the amazing Diane at Cafe Neo. Based in the Precinct here in Worksop.

The town was busy today. Running a few errands as always on a Monday. Sorry for the half eaten snap shot of my omelette 🙈 Caught up with quite a few faces in town as well. Great to chat and see how everyone is doing.

It maybe foggy out there today, but we’re now feeling energetic and ready to get more jobs done. Worksop people, Worksop business, supporting Worksop businesses 🫶🏼❤️
