Tonight is the night! Can’t wait to see you all. Ground is nice and firm but a bit wet so wellies may come in handy.

Make sure you bring your pennies as we will have rides for younger children, win a teddy, food stalls and of course the bar!

Not sure whose car this is but will need it moving asap for the fireworks tonight.

A big thank you to our volunteers - both those who spend months planning and organising the event and those who help on the night and the days before and after (clean up this morning from 9am if anyone wants to help 🤣)

One week until we bring this event to you. Free entry for the fireworks. Shireoaks Sports & Social Club will provide drinks, entertainment for the crowds and some rides and food. Let's bring Shireoaks and Rhodesia together 🙂

1 week to go until the largest musical fireworks display in Bassetlaw - the Shireoaks & Rhodesia ‘illuminations’ fireworks display !

We are nearly there, not long to go to see Basstlaws best fireworks display set to music. Come to Shireoaks Sports and Social Club on Saturday 29th October from 6pm.

We are on our final countdown to our musical firework display. If anyone can help us bring this free event to Shireoaks we would love to hear from you. We need a a few people on the afternoon setting up and on the night, but you will be left with plenty of time to enjoy the display with your family. Sunday morning it would be nice to have some help clearing up after the event :)

We are pleased to confirm our date for fireworks this year and our providers for the display 🥳. We look forward to October and will keep you updated with opportunities to help out to allow this event to go off with an erm bang!
