Hello! Long time no see you absolute bunch of wonderful people 💓💓 the whole saga continues and I’m hoping we are now on the right track as I can post this so we are winning somewhere 🙏🏼
I’ve not posted in a while and messages have been sporadic as Facebook emailed me last week and said they restored access to my old account (quick hint they haven’t) but I think with it being restored or whatever they’ve done it in turn messed with this account, so every post I’ve tried to make says there’s and error and I don’t get messages properly 🙃🥲 however I woke up this morning to a flood of some coming in, and some are old so I’m so sorry! Next week will be normal. It’s so frustrating I’ve worked extremely hard to get this far and it seems like I’m being thrown a curveball each week 😩 it’s exhausting, I’ve not been too well myself which I think is stress from multiple things but I need to pick myself up abit now! 💓
So it’s absolutely lovely to be able to post again I’ve missed it 🥹 so I will be trying to post a few bits and bobs today and I’m really hoping everything just calms down a tiny amount now I think we are through the worst of it! How are you guys this fine Friday? 🥰

So just to answers a few FAQ’s (sorry this might be long!!
What is sourdough?
Sourdough isn’t actually a type of bread, in the way you may think, the reason it’s called sourdough is because of the starter, it’s a natural levian (basically meaning it’s wild yeast rather than commercial store bought yeast) sourdough can be made into anything that requires yeast, even donuts! (Delicious I may offer these at some point 😉)
So why is it better for you?
Well it’s better for you because it’s an all natural fermented product, which means it naturally has less gluten and the gluten that is in it, is natural making your gut flora happy which makes it easier to digest! (No more bread belly aches!)
Not to get too scientific and bore everyone- take a shot everytime this post says natural 🤣😉.
But sourdough is essentially easier to digest, it can actually reduce the risk of heart disease as it tends to be higher in fibre, healthy carbs, higher in protein and it has more vitamins in it that we can more readily digest due to being fermented. It can also help promote healthy aging, not that it will make you look younger per say but because it has been shown to have antioxidant, anti-hypertensive and anti-diabetic effects. And the taste doesn’t hurt it’s absolutely delicious!
So why is my sourdough better? (In my opinion)
While £3 for a loaf of bread might seem extreme, keep in mind your bread is made by one person- me, and I am so passionate about what i do, and do my upmost best to make sure the product you are getting is high quality, and baked fresh on the day. I only use organic bread flour, water and sea salt. That’s it, that’s quite literally all that goes into your sourdough round loaves, the hard work is in the fermentation (and the time it takes). If there’s a recipe I use out there that calls for oil and sugar I substitute with butter and honey! While this means some trial and error sometimes, at the end of the day it keeps your product as nutritious and healthy for you as it possibly could be while still tasting fabulous. I take pride in that!
And my loaves are also bigger than standard they weigh 945g approximately vs a very well know supermarket that ends in sons 🤣🤣 who sell ‘sourdough boules) at 400g for £2!! And if you ever take a moment to check the ingredients it’s not true sourdough, as commercial yeast and sun flour oil is in it. (Not good and very unnecessary it’s a cost cutting corner).
This is just a little info as I want to put out why sourdough is better and why to choose me, it also helps your supporting a very small business, and you know that every loaf I do make truly gets made with love, even scoring and pattering them takes me extra time out of the day to make them as beautiful as they can be, because I simply adore it that much ☺️

I am officially feeling better now so I’m going through all my messages! I can wait to get back to baking properly tomorrow I’ve missed you all! 🥰 this week is going to be abit all over the place but I’m hoping next week will be normal! I’m nearly full for this week already now, so I’ll be going through in order, it’s not normally this chaotic so going through everything is taking me sometime as I need to be careful to not over book! But feeling so loved by everyone today look at the gorgeous roses one of my customers brought me and also some beautiful chocolates from another 🥺 you all make it so worth it, I love and adore what I do anyway but with a customer base like you, it makes it so easy 💓

You guys are so amazing thank you so much 🥺 my page has been gone 2-3 days and I’m already sat at 300 again ❤️ I can’t lie I was super poorly yesterday so I’m getting back to everyone now and having everything crossed I can actually catch a break 😂😂 I’m not usually one to sit here and say woe me but the universe has truly knocked me out the last two weeks 😂
However back to baking today! And I’m playing a little bit of catch up this week, I’m so sorry if I get your order wrong this week, or if it’s all abit unorganised I can promise you I will be trying my absolute best! But with the old inbox gone it’s been really difficult to keep track of what I’ve got to do- so I am hoping by next week everything is actually back to normal! I’m going to be re-sharing all the information posts, luckily I had most of them written down in my notes app, so they’ll he mostly the same, I’ll be rolling those out through this week so not to overwhelm everyone at once, as believe me I can chat and chat about bread but I don’t know if you all need that at once 😅 thank you so much everyone 🥺 I’m going to try and get through this week with minimal hiccups and then I’ll be doing a giveaway post 😘❤️

Hello! Back to posting
Well today has been utterly disastrous I’ve cried, I’ve had abit of a fit I can’t lie to you.
But I’m over it now 😂 I’m feeling so much better! It’s disappointing, and I’m allowed to be sad. You guys don’t leave me sad for long though and I know I’ll get back to where I was, and I’ll be writing all the information posts again and basically starting from scratch! So your support is very much so appreciated.
One of the sweetest most thoughtful customers ended my day in the best way possible she gave me some gorgeous yellow roses because I had a bad day, it honestly made me cry happy tears 🥹 I’ve had to pop out, but I will be sharing. A photo tomorrow 😍 which was very welcomed after today.
You are all so amazing and have blown me away today. Thank you so much.
I’m going to be doing another give away soon ti help build me back up again! ♥️♥️

Devastated isn’t the word- I woke up this morning and found that my old account is gone.
It’s abit silly as it’s just an account, but I’ve put so much work into it- reviews, pictures etc. everything is gone.
Today is an absolute nightmare.
So please please if you guys can help would be so appreciated (reviews, inviting your friends)
Just to help build me back up please! I was just getting somewhere and I feel like I’ve truly lost it all today 😭
What was a great start to my week soon ended as there’s always something 😩
Hopefully this is the last of the nightmare, I may get the old account back I may not.
So we are starting all over again 🥺
I’ve had my tears and it’s time to brush it off and accept it as a learning curve!

Hello! My name is Hallie and I’m a 22 year old stay at home mum to my little boy 🥰
I absolutely adore baking and love Sharing it!
I unfortunately have a kidney disease so while I struggle to find a job, this is something that I absolutely adore that’s very attainable for me to manage.
I have registered with the council and I handle everything with the upmost care, my kitchen is kept to a very high standard.
My bread is all done traditionally in cast iron and lovingly prepared over 30 hours.
