Barlow Carnival Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th on the recreation ground

🤩 We had such a great time at Barlow Carnival last year we will be back again this year. Come find us on the recreation ground next Saturday & Sunday 🤩

This is a great opportunity to visit a venue not normally open to the public except for private event hire.

👩🏼‍🎨 On Sunday 19th May we will be at Chesterfield Crafters Bazaar selling off some of our crafting stash. There will be at least 50 stall holders selling a variety of different crafting supplies so it’s a great opportunity to build your own stash or try a new craft at reduced prices 🧶 🎨 🧵

We will be bringing a large quantity of fabric pieces (the majority of which will be 50p or £1 each), stamps, paper craft supplies, ribbons, trimmings card stock and more.

There will also be a large selection of die cutters, embossing folders, rubber stamps and wooden mounted stamps that we will be selling on behalf of Care for Cats. A charity that rescues and re-homes unwanted cats and kittens 🐈‍⬛

Retford Charter Day is in full swing. Funfair set up in the market square, craft market in the buttermarket with a WI cafe, market stalls throughout the town, entertainment and much more.

Later today we will also be standing at Whitwell Community centre, where you can enjoy Maypole dancing, a climbing wall, activities for kids, food & refreshments by the Whitwell Scouts & Guides

We have a busy weekend planned next week with the team dividing to cover multiple events.

It’s Retford Big Market Day on Saturday 20th April where we will be standing inside the buttermarket (8:30am-2pm). It is also the craft and gift fair weekend spectacular at Elsecar Heritage Centre where we will be joining 90+ stall holders on both days (20th-21st April 10am-4pm)

Unfortunately Saturdays Bolsover Artisan Food & Craft Market has been cancelled on Saturday due to the forecasted high winds.

Next one is on Saturday 4th May, hope to see you all there 🥰

Due to the 40 plus mph winds forecast for Saturday, we have taken the very hard decision to cancel this Saturday's Artisan Market.

We have spoken to the majority of traders, whom insurance won't cover them for winds of this speed.

This is very frustrating as it is the first one of the season and we were all looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the town.

We'll see you at the next one on the 4th May, when hopefully the weather will be a little kinder.

🤩It’s Retford Big Market Day tomorrow which means we will be back standing inside the Butter Market.🤩

It’s Big Market Day, this Saturday. we have the Traditional Market, Farmer’s Market, and the Craft Market in the Buttermarket. The ever popular Hathersage Brass Band will be entertaining us and don’t forget to take part in the Easter Egg Hunt with lots of lovely goodies to be won. Oh…and the Easter Bunny will be out and about in the town. See if you can’t spot him👓👓
