Great idea - container for a form with emergency contact details, medical info, etc - you stash it in your fridge, and put a sticker on the fridge door and on the inside of your front door, so if emergency services have to attend, they will have all the info to hand. If you have any friends or relatives who live alone, pick one up for them - I saw them in my local Rowlands Pharmacy (Chapel Street). The bottles are a Lions initiative, so I will message the local group and see if they have a list of locations where you can get the bottles
Great project this, it would be good to see this idea of videos of schools take hold
It’s Disability History Month!
This year we’re focussing on the Experience of Disablement amongst children and young people in the past, now and what is needed for the future.
It’s inspiring to reflect on the significant advancements in accessibility within schools.
Over the years, schools have made commendable progress in creating inclusive environments for students with diverse abilities. From wheelchair ramps and elevators to sensory-friendly spaces and adaptive technologies, not only transforming physical structures but also embracing innovative teaching methods that cater to various learning styles.
Familiarisation Videos would like to continue to push this progress even further by using visual tours of schools to help children overcome anxiety and other barriers surrounding their education. Follow us throughout the month to find out how we can do this…
