Good evening all,

After being closed for almost 2 months I’m happy to announce we are definitely reopening tomorrow night at 5 pm.
We have added a couple of lovely new items.
Wild Haddock on the fish and chip side. With fish and chips being overlooked in the takeaway world I hope to revive the tradition by offering proper fish and chips the old traditional way. Whilst frozen fish or farmed fish is the norm these days I am hoping locals will appreciate this gem of a wild fresh fish which for some may bring back some memories. Come and try !

Another item is PFC otherwise named as Peking Fried Chicken.
This dish is one I have created for my childrens birthday partys’ of which has been a favourite for all and I ws asked to put it on the menu recently by Holts best cake maker ( although I haven’t tried them yet) so here it is. KFC Peking style. Hope you like it !

Hello to all Peking Garden customers and friends.

We are back !!!

Grand reopening on Sunday28th june.

First of all a great big Thankyou for all the massive support I’ve received from everybody during our difficult times and I hope everybody has come through this with positivity and patience.
We are back even stronger and keen to serve you all again and will strive to maintain Peking gardens long established good name.
The only downside for some is that all chinese meals will need to be ordered through the Peking Garden APP which you can download either via google, Apple store or the link on this page.
You are welcome to come and buy fish and chips etc but please adhere to the social distancing rules which I’m sure everybody is used to by now. We can only allow customers in the shop one at a time and request anyone queueing up outside to adhere to the recommendations set by authorities.
For people picking up orders:
When you arrive at the shop queue as normal outside until your turn to enter. Quote your name and order number and collect your order.
Although this causes some inconvenience, it’s simply the best way we can serve at the required speed needed.
Hoping we can return to normal as soon as possible.

First of all. Thankyou very much to the lovely people who were so understanding last night.

We were a total of 3 people working and before we opened we had already received umpteen orders. We actually had to call the app provider to switch off the app at 7:30 and by then we’ll over a hundred families had ordered food.

That’s a phenomenal amount to get through with a full team but cooking alone nye on Impossible but we soldiered on working through and to add only 2 drivers who were all over wrexham and as far as Tattenhall and Malpas.

We really did our best and the 2 young girls worked unbelievably hard to which I’m truly grateful for. Loyalty goes a long way in my book and them coming out to work during a pandemic needs a big round of applause.

So once again apologies if you had a bad experience and thanks for all the great messages of support even though your food wasn’t delivered to Peking Gardens normal standard.

To the people who have ranted on here and left the nasty messages you have done please don’t order from us again.

Lastly it saddens me to inform everyone that we will now be CLOSED until further notice.

We simply can’t cope with such few staff.

Happy Saturday everyone !

Apologies to anyone who waited longer than expected last night for their orders.

As far as I’m aware we are the only Chinese open in the area so we were inundated with orders and we envisage tonight to be the same.

We are staying open with a very small team of staff compared to normally and with 2 chefs self isolating leaves only myself cooking.

PLEASE have patience ! Your order will be with you but just slower than normally and ensure it will arrive at our normal standard.

Thanks for all your support and we will continue to remain open as long as we can.

We have been able to continue to stay open for business over the past week although being massively understaffed.
We have managed as well as we have been able to.

I would like to inform everyone that “ WE ONLY TAKE ORDERS USING OUR APP”

Download our App please :- you can find it in the App Store as Peking garden holt.

We will not accept phone orders as we will not accept cash on delivery or pickup.

When using the app the orders are prepaid.
Hence no need for any contact.

You can collect but we encourage you to use delivery for the safety of all concerned.

Some customers have had problems using the app but please keep trying it. It is working perfectly well.

I’d like to wish everybody well and safety and a big Thankyou to everyone for all your custom and support.
