Today is the final day of our ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ@๐ ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ campaign - taking two minutes every day during November to prioritise your wellbeing.
We hope that you are still with us and by now, taking a few moments each day to consider what you need for your own wellbeing has become a habit which will stay with you for life.
So for our last prompt, why not remind yourself of the things you have achieved. They donโt have to be grand, the smallest things can often have the biggest impact. For instance, acts of kindness like saying โhelloโ to your colleagues or making someone a cup of tea make us ALL feel connected and less alone.

This is a project has been in the making since The Rainbow Centre was formed 30 years ago and we are thrilled that we have finally secured funding via the UK Levelling Up Fund to be able to start work on it.
We will be entering discussions with the local communities in the New Year when we will start collecting stories, information, and ideas for the project. This will include the Polish Hospital, the evacueesโ stories, the three hospitals established by the US Army, and the Polish community as a whole.
There will be a public meeting held in January โ details and invitations to follow in the coming weeks โ where anyone will be welcome to come along and learn more about the project, it's aims and to share ideas.
This is a community project and therefore the more people willing to get involved the better. Therefore, if you would like to join us, please feel free to email Rebecca our Project Officer at [email protected]

Our Story
Our community work is based in the Penley Rainbow Centre and within the community through our Befriending project.
Our aim is to improve the health and welcoming of our rural community. We provide support, services and facilities that can empower people of all ages to retain as much independance as possible and enable them to access services in their locality.
The Rainbow Centre is proud to offer day opportunities (day centre) for the elderly, a Befriending project for the over 50s, a Social Club for the over 50s and mother and toddler activities, exercise facilities and room hire for the community to offer their own events/activities.
The Penley Rainbow Centre is governed by their Board of Trustees, the board is made up of 9 community representatives. The dedicated Trustees consist of local business people, a local councillor, a retired headmaster and residents (combining over 50 years of community work and experience). Our small management team is led by our Caroline Tudor-James, our Director. Reporting to her are Geraldine Vaughan, our Befriending and Operational Manager, and Nicky Bentley, our Day Opportunities Manager.
If you would like to know more about the work we do please contact the Rainbow Centre.
If you would like to run a club or activity from the centre please pop in or get in touch by telephoning 01948830730.
