Shearwater has identified a failure mode in certain Petrel 3 controllers, monitors and dive computers where the product may experience an unexpected loss of power. While the risk is low, we recommend that all Petrel 3s be serviced to implement the product improvement free of charge. Do you remember Sandra, our Open Water student? She was once afraid of deep water, but now she's diving in quarries and the sea, and last night trying her hand at freediving! 🤿

We couldn't be more proud of her progress. 💪
From diving down to bottom of the pool (3m) to swim underwater for the full length of the pool (25m) on just one breath. Talk about impressive! 😱

We love seeing Sandra's confidence in the water grow and develop. Keep up the amazing work, Sandra! We can't wait to see what new achievements you'll reach next week. Who knows, maybe you'll end up swimming like a mermaid? 🧜‍♀️

Busy 3 days in our centre. 👌🤿

Monday, we kicked off the week with our pool session where we started the course, dry suit skills, and preparation for shore guided dives and our club members also had the opportunity to have a fun practice session. 🤿🌊

Following day, while Jon was busy at the shop with repairs and servicing for our customers, some of our team headed off to Anglesey to complete the courses while exploring a range of bays around. 🌊 They also took the opportunity to practice freediving for the upcoming weekend. 🤿 It was a great day filled with learning and adventure. ☀️

Finally, today was another fantastic day as we had some amazing dives at Capernwray with Rebeca, who was completing her course. It was a pleasure to see her progress in the open water environment. 👌🤿 Looking forward to another day! 😍
