Transgender Awareness Week is a week when transgender people and their allies take action to bring attention to the trans community by educating the public about who transgender people are, sharing stories and experiences, and advancing advocacy around issues of prejudice, discrimination, and violence that affect the transgender community.

Iceni RFC celebrates diversity and equality and supports full inclusivity and understanding, standing together with our Transgender family!

In light of the results of the recent election in the United States, with Donald Trump being reelected as President, Iceni RFC wants to send our love and support to our LGBTQIA+ rugby family across the pond.

We stand with you in solidarity, as we do with all marginalised communities.

Whilst the result is democratic, it is not the outcome that many across our community would have wanted.

We understand your fear and frustration with the oncoming chaos and uncertainty.

Now is the time to come together and find solace in one another.

The inclusive environments that all of you have built and nurtured are a beacon in otherwise dark times.

There is strength in the diversity of our community, in our acceptance, in our openness.

The family we have all created is a bulwark against bigotry and hate.

You are not alone.

Iceni RFC are unbelievably proud of our Katy and Tim playing for Wymondham RFC Touch Section and our Chelsea playing for North Norfolk Nomads Touch Rugby Club at the ERDS 2024/25 Round 2, Division 2 today, in St Ives, Cambridge!

Wymondham Touch placed 2nd in the table, with 13 points and Nomads placed 4th with 9 points.
