We are looking for an experienced, full time gents stylist to come and join us at Hedz.

Someone who can offer our clients excellent service at all times, and has at least 2 years experience.

This job role would require you to take on a managerial role and would be 5 days a week, including Saturdays.

Liz is doing a fab job of running the shop at the moment, aswell as being pregnant herself!

Guidelines are still as follows:
💈All clients must wear a mask
💈Please sanitise your hands on arrival (sanitiser provided in the shop)
💈We will be wearing all the correct PPE and thorough cleaning will be done between every client
💈Please turn up to your appointment on time, and if you can’t make it please please please let us know!

We are really looking forward to seeing you all again, please bare with us as we get through everybody as-well as getting back into the swing of things!

Following on from Boris’ announcement this evening we are so sorry to have to say that we are having to sadly close our doors again. We will be getting in touch with all of you who have appointments booked with us, and we won’t be taking appointments now until further notice.

Hedz has been in my family now for 11 years and it’s so sad to have to do this for the 3rd time within a year. I’d like to thank every one of you for all of your support, and hope you continue to stand by and support us when we reopen again.

Please stay safe all of you, thinking of everyone and your families in these tricky times!

Please, if you can’t make your appointment let us know as soon as possible. We understand sometimes something else pops up and you can’t make it, but with us trying to squeeze everybody in for these last two days of opening we need to know of any cancellations, as somebody else could have that appointment.

Good morning everyone!

Due to lockdown 2.0 we sadly will have to close our doors again for 4 weeks from Thursday 5th November and back open on Thursday 2nd December.

We will be open this week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If you’re not wanting to have to endure another lockdown home haircut 🙈 get yourselves booked in via the Booksy app or phone the barbers on 01904 639260 from Monday.

We will try and get everybody in where we can, but please bare with us at this busy time and as always yours and our health and safety is number one priority. Please read guidelines on the shop front before entering.

Just an update, it is now mandatory from today to wear masks in all barbers.

❗️New Update from Boris Johnson❗️
• It’s with great heartbreak that I am having to write this, Boris Johnson has only given all beauty therapists 24 hours notice that we cannot perform any close contact treatment such as Eyebrows, Tints and any facial waxing. I will be in contact with all clients who have appointments already booked so please bare with me.
• This will be reviewed on the 15th August at the earliest. I will be in contact as soon as I have the go ahead to preform these treatments.
• I would like to apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. I am just as angry and frustrated as you guys must feel.
• Thank you for being so patient in this difficult time.
• I can’t wait to see you all and I hope you are all well!

Well..
What an exciting first day back! It was so good seeing everyone again, and catching up!
From cutting everyone’s hair to being on BBC Radio York! The day couldn’t have gone any better!
