We are on the look out for donations for both these families please.

I am writing to you today to ask for your help in supporting two children who are in need. Both of these children are autistic and are in need of items that will greatly improve their daily lives.

The first child is a young girl who is in need of clothing in the size of 3-4 years. She loves the show "Peppa Pig" and baby shark it would be a great joy for her to have clothing with this character on it. As we all know, children with autism can have difficulty with change and having familiar characters on their clothing can bring them comfort and joy.

The second child is a young boy who is also autistic. We are in search of a donated tablet for him, any make or brand would be greatly appreciated. This tablet would not only provide entertainment for him, but also help with his learning and development. Additionally, we are also looking for sensory items for him that will help him with his sensory processing needs.

We understand that times are tough for everyone right now, but any donations, big or small, would make a huge difference in the lives of these two children. Your generosity and support will go a long way in helping these children and their families.

Join Our Organisation and Make a Difference!

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community? We are seeking dedicated volunteers to join our organisation and help us in our mission to support families and individuals in need. Your contribution will be invaluable!

As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in picking up surplus food, clothing, toys, baby equipment, and other items each week. These items are essential for the families and people we assist at our organisation. Currently, we have two drivers, but their availability is limited, and the demand for deliveries has increased significantly all across York.

We are particularly in need of volunteers who can drive and have access to a car. Your help as a driver will greatly enhance our ability to deliver a high volume of food parcels, as well as other essential items, to those who rely on our support.

In addition to volunteer drivers, we are also looking for trustees and sponsors to join our team. Trustees play a critical role in guiding our organisation’s strategic direction, while sponsors provide financial support that enables us to continue our important work.

By volunteering with us, you will have the opportunity to:

- Make a tangible difference in the lives of families and individuals in need
- Contribute to reducing food waste and promoting sustainability
- Help deliver essential items that bring comfort and support to those who require it
- Engage with a diverse community and build lasting connections
- Develop valuable skills and gain experience in the nonprofit sector

We welcome volunteers who can commit to a regular schedule, as well as those who can spare a few hours of their time. Your dedication will help create a stronger and more compassionate community.

As many of you know, our organisation provides food parcels to families in need throughout the year. However, we are currently experiencing a shortage of food donations as our supermarket surplus has been very little this time around , which is making it difficult for us to provide enough food for the food parcels.

If you are able to help, please consider donating non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and cereal as well as perishable items such as sauces, bread, eggs, juice, milk, fruit and veg etc. to our organisation. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in the lives of families who are struggling to make ends meet.

Donations can be dropped off at one of our team members address during our regular hours. If you are unable to drop off donations in person, please let us know so one of the team can collect from you. .

We're out of these items if anyone can help by donating please? . We are in need of nappies of any size, baby formula, Toiletries for babies and all ages, period products, washing powder etc. and powdered milk. .

We assist a broad range of professionals such as social workers, court teams, midwives, teachers, etc. with the families or clients they have, and also self referrals.

We provide essential items such as food, clothing, emergency gas and electric, toys, furniture, baby equipment, white goods and much more.
