Just came accross this photo. 2016 was a great year for this . I bought this from the vineyard after tasting in the tasting room and took back to the villa in to enjoy with the barbecue. A meter length of toulouse sausage, grilled meats, salads and good bread.
And I can still remember the wine. Cheers 🍷

Hints of redcurrants, grass, red flowers, wild cherries, and fine spices remind us of the Sumoll grapes and oak used during its production.
grapes are notoriously difficult to work with but the legends have achieved an exciting, intense expression of the place it was made.

Clos Lentiscus Croac Croac Pink 2018 1L Bottle.
Amazing tropical notes of papaya and tangerines, a refreshingly bright palate and noticeably raw with a touch of funk.
-lo is a fairly widely planted white grape, but there are a few plantings in Catalunya of its naturally pink-berried mutation called Xarel-lo Vermell. This incredible wine is made with skin contact, so instead of an amber colour we get pink. Certified organic farming with biodynamic practices. Ferments are all naturally done, no filtering or fining, and no sulfites added.  Pours a lovely orangish-pink hue with natural cloudiness.

Le Calocchie Vermentino from Tuscany is a beautiful light, flavoursome, aromatic white from . A real sense of place with this beaut wine, we loved the 2018 & this 2019 is a real cracker too.

This sunset looking natural, biodynamic and organic wine from Alsace has a palette of slightly tangy orange peel with aromatic spices, crunchy acidity and a long clean finish. Made for the chiller in the warm weather. This wine has 14 days skin contact. You could pair this with curries or hard cheeses or just throw the bottle back without food.

Domaine Brand was founded by Lucien Brand in 1956.

At that time, the farm grew several crops. There were over 15 hectares of wheat, to***co and pastures for livestock, with just 53 ares of vines. It gradually began to specialize in viticulture, allowing the vineyard to expand over the other areas until 1970.

Later Charles Brand sealed the estate’s reputation by vinifying the premium dry wines popular with locals.

In 2001, he revolutionized the production methods, launching a three-year conversion period and having his vineyard certified organic.

Philippe partnered his father in 2006, injecting a new impetus into their company, which they renamed Domaine Brand & Fils.

In 2015, a new direction was taken: as Philippe wanted to go further in their journey, he obtained Biodynamic Agriculture certification from the organization Demeter. He also took the opportunity to extend the range of Natural Wines.
