🦸‍♀️ Unsung hero on our menu? 🦸 Probably gyoza 🥟 These Duck gyoza are packed full of flavour and served with lashings of hoisin sauce, spring onions and toasted sesame seeds on the top for good measure. If you like crispy duck and pancakes give these a go, they might just become your favourite side on the menu ❤️

It’s exactly 4 years and 6 months since YUZU was born and today has got us a little reminiscent.

😍 We were almost called Bao Down and YUZU Kitchen before finally settling on YUZU Street Food.

Now we’re up to 6 permanent trading locations and almost 70 incredible team members. As well as a super fast growing events team which includes pop-ups and two street food trucks 🛻 🛻

We haven’t had any investment or the classic rich parents, we just re-invest any money we make back into our business to fuel growth.

Lots of people ask us about our growth so I’ll do some videos on that over the next few months :)

1. Our logo (which I designed on pages) Still didn’t have it professionally formatted until about 6 months ago, when events asked for a logo they often want a PNG or some fancy format…. All they got was my screen shot 🫣😂

2. We didn’t want to spend loads of money on marketing or expensive branded bags (we didn’t have it to spend) so we drew on EVERY bag and personalised it, we still do that today - this was always one of my faves. 😂 We still get people message us today who ‘Collect’ their takeout bags like pieces of artwork 🖼️

3. Our first duck fries we ever sold (still the same recipe and ingredients today) 💪 price is higher but we had to increase that or take it off the menu… the pandemic and now inflation have caused havoc with supply chain and food cost.

4. Our first ever Korean pulled pork bao sold, same recipe (pretty much) but now we use a bit more gochujang to give it that super tangy heat.

5. We did do bubble waffles back then…. Absolute trend setters…. They’re EVERYWHERE now!

6 & 7. Couple more food images in our old packaging and first EVER chicken Katsu we sold, now the best selling item on the menu, I’m obviously biased but I do think it’s the best chicken Katsu in the UK. I’ve eaten a LOT (for research 😂)and it’s the best I’ve ever tasted.

8. Orders from when we first went on delivery platforms in the pandemic, we literally got SWAMPED in orders, we panicked, a lot of mistakes were made BUT you stuck with us ❤️❤️

9. Our first uniform outside our first permanent kitchen POCKLINGTON 💪💪💪 we’re still there today ❤️
