Angela Hall - Artist working in print & ceramics
North Yorkshire based artist working in print (etching, silkscreen printing) and ceramics. Educational workshops.
Feeling a bit autumnal now as the apple season has started in my garden and I’m trying to rescue the windfalls from the Hornets. I’m also working on a new series of screen prints combining paper stencils, monoprint and photo silkscreen. Swipe to see the process!
I’ll be taking some of these silkscreen prints to RHS Harlow Carr ‘Escape into Colour’ exhibition that starts 29th August – 29thSeptember in the Bath House. Showing contemporary art and craft from over 30 British artists and makers this carefully curated collection has colour at their core.
Catch me this Saturday at 12noon till 3pm where I’m currently exhibiting my prints in a solo exhibition ‘Fresh from the Farm’.
It’s a chance to meet me and view my sketchbooks no need to book just pop in. I will also be demoing my printing process so if you are interested in finding out about silkscreen printing, I will be bringing my basic home print set up and will be happy to answer any print questions!
Look forward to seeing you.

I used it throughout art school days and beyond – developing films in my makeshift darkroom and spending hours in the dark with only a red safelight. I’m still intrigued by the photographic process and although I’ve misplaced the lens on this camera, I’ll not part with it.
