A fast paced and exciting week of musical theatre that will set the summer holidays alive, building a cast of new friends in the process.
The workshop is a great opportunity for both seasoned performers and newcomers. Open to both Stagecoach and non Stagecoach students - 5 to 18 year olds grouped according to age.

Here's a little look back to Sunday 5th May, when our choir performed at Harrogate Theatre for the Stagecoach Big Sing. It was such a fabulous day! Our choir sounded amazing with their medley of songs from Les Misérables. Thank you to all the friends and families who came to support, and a big thank you to Tom, our singing teacher, for directing the performance 👏👏

🎭Congratulations to all of our students who took part in Carmen and Madama Butterfly this weekend. You were absolutely wonderful, everyone from the eldest right down to our youngest, at only 5 years old, showed complete professionalism. 👏👏

Children aged 4 to 16 can join our Drama, Dance and Singing classes, work with our fantastic teachers and meet other like-minded children. Our two week trial provides children the chance to experience Stagecoach first-hand, before committing to the term. Another fantastic day for Stagecoach York as our dance troupe took part in Dance It Up North. Well done to all the dancers for their excellent performance.

What we teach at Stagecoach – Singing 🎤

Our singing classes are designed to help students of all abilities learn to sing confidently on their own or in a group. From our shyest student to our boldest belter, we teach them to develop singing techniques and have fun while doing so!

Main Stage Classes at Stagecoach York! 🤩

Our Main Stages students are 6 to 18 year-olds (split by age into smaller groups) and class activities vary weekly, meaning no Stagecoach session is the same! Students are encouraged to build and grow their skills as individuals and also work as a team with the rest of their class to create performances that parents/guardians are welcome to watch.

We are extremely proud of our youngest students, who give their very best in the classroom every week to show us how much they’re improving in their dance, drama and singing. They are having a wonderful time learning fun new skills with their brilliant teachers. Our little stars are giving wonderful energy and enthusiasm throughout all of their Stagecoach sessions and it really shows! 🧡 💛 🖤

At Stagecoach York, it's important to come prepared so you can make the most of your classes. Here are some key items to make sure you have in your bag when attending a Stagecoach lesson.

What to expect at Stagecoach York.

Students can expect a warm welcome at Stagecoach York. Our classes are split into small, age-appropriate groups so our teachers can provide each child with the best support. Students are expected to attend regularly and must wear the Stagecoach uniform after their trial. Water should be brought to class in a resealable bottle. Stagecoach Skills – Creativity

One of the key skills we teach at Stagecoach is creativity. Being able to think on your feet helps children practice approaching tasks from different perspectives. Exploring a song, dance or script from different viewpoints encourages children to think ‘outside the box’ and use their imagination.
