We are INCREDIBLY happy to be welcoming Mystmoon Costumes and Photography as BB8 and Rose Sew Costumes as Kylo Ren to Sketch Wars - We Did It All For The Wookie next Friday. These amazing ladies made their costumes themselves from scratch, and we can't wait to get drawing them.

Goooooood morning art monkeys! Some of you may be wondering about our venue on May the 4th. If you've been down Piccadilly recently, you will see that there is a lot going on! Spark:York CIC is the brainchild of Tom Mckenzie and Sam Leach, inspired by box parks and shipping container installations around the world. Here is what they say:
"We are a community project, turning an empty city-centre site into a thriving village of enterprises - all of whom are independent, local and give something back to the community.
Spark:York is a local project, for local people. We aim to share our experiences of travel, food, socialising and working to create the ultimate, inclusive space in the heart of York.
Spark:York will consist of 23 upcycled shipping containers, arranged over two levels.
As a community interest company without shareholders, all profits are reinvested in the project and local community."
