This year is Yorkcrests 16 year anniversary!!!! We love our little gecko's just as much now as we did when we got our first crestie many moons ago. We still have some of our original gecko's, including Morpheus, Calypso and Echo.

Our little stenodactylus have been enjoying there little christmas house. One doing a good impression of a reindeer on the roof while the others are being nosey through the windows to see if they have any gifts 🎁

We often post photos of Morpheus saying how old he is. But let me introduce Calypso, at 18years she hatched July 2005 so is only 14 months younger than 19 year old Morpheus she has produced us many lovely babies she lives alone now enjoying the single life.

Sad news. Our lovely Zena has passed away 😢 she was at least 10 years old, not 100% sure of age as we wernt her first owner. Her first owner didn't want her any more but we gave her 10 happy years. My little nephew loved her too.

** now gone to new home** At 37 grams this lady is looking lovely. Pm for more details as she is ready to fly. Chahoua are great geckos, they are chunkier than cresties, easier to handle not as flighty and don't drop their tails as readily. But care for them is very similar, females need more calcium and they do like a weekly snack of live food. This one loves her waxworms

Morpheus is still going strong at 18 years old. Born in September/October 2004.

Someone's a little feisty today

Baby number 2 E.viellardi hatched this week. Isn't it cute!!!! These little ones will be wanting a new home once they gain a little weight. They are from our 13 year old German Matzi line. This will be the last from this pair, she hasn't produced viable eggs for a few years so these where a surprise.

Shock of the morning, a baby. We stopped breeding cresties 2 years ago. But our 15 year old echo has surprised us this morning, the last time she was with a male was our 18 year old Morpheus so he's a surprise father. Now I need to be on the hunt for more!!
