Our Story
Lendal Cellars is a traditional cellar bar dating back to the 18th Century and formerly the Lord Mayors wine cellar, located in the beautiful historic city of York. There is a welcoming atmosphere and we are a popular venue for locals and visitors / tourists. Our main menu is available daily including breakfast or simply coffee and cake. We also have a wide range of lagers, beers and wines available to accompany your meal. Customers who enjoy a great pint will appreciate the choice of Greene King ales plus 6 other rotating guest ales that we offer. We are able to cater for all special occasions with room for up to 150 guests and all enquiries are welcome. If you are joining us for a drink or a bite to eat, we look forward to seeing you at Lendal Cellars.
