Enjoy a welcoming space to create, learn, and share your artwork. The studio is a space for people of all ages and skill levels to be inspired by our Season of Drawing exhibitions and have a go at drawing!

Why not try sketching your surroundings, drawing from reference photos and still-life objects, or experimenting with different mediums such as pencils, markers, or paints?

This lovely autumnal painting depicts the land around the Acomb home of Reverend Isaac Spencer, friend of the artist William Etty. 🍂

Etty was born and raised in York, and despite achieving huge success in the Victorian London art world, he continued to return to York regularly and always found inspiration in our beautiful city and its surrounding countryside.

We would love to be sailing along beside those swans this morning!🦢

This Friday nigh 8.30pm-late is our amazing 80s night with Kodi K***h DJ from Jorvik Radio 94.8fm. Kodi will be mixing it up with original 80's, remixes and reworks of rock, dance and party tracks in his own Mixmaster style. York St John University

🚨We are hiring🚨

The Fort York is looking for a Housekeeper to join our small and friendly team here on Little Stonegate.

We are searching for someone with a keen eye for detail and has a passion for high standards!

The Fort Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning 6 double rooms and 3 apartments.

Working hours are between 16-20 hours on a part time, permanent basis.

We would require you to work a couple days throughout the week and the occasional Sunday shift.

You will start your shift at 9.30am and be finished around 2.30pm on a weekday and 4pm on a Sunday : )

All wages are paid weekly!
