'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens was on one of our shelving trollies which made us begin debating - Is 'A Christmas Carol' a Christmas story or a ghost story set at Christmastime essentially making it a spooky/Halloween story?
What do you all think: a Christmas or a Halloween story?
Nevertheless this classic novel really has stood the test of time, with many adaptations from BBC dramas to The Muppets. It is a well loved story of Scrooge, a real meanie, a true curmudgeon, a ruthless businessman in Victorian London, who gets visited by three ghosts: past, present and future. 👻🎄📚
Chime in with your thoughts in the comments - we'd love to know.
