Ambassadors Assemble!

Wow! What a great evening we had last night down on the beach for the first group shoot.

Not everyone could make it, but there will be more. Thank you to those that came for your energy, effort and talent. You braved the water, by the end I didn’t think it was too bad, but that’s probably because I couldn’t feel my feet anymore! Thank you to your parents for bringing you, especially as the M1 and A64 sounded pretty rough.

I’ve got a mountain of photos to get through, but I just wanted to share this one. I had this shot in my head and I’m pretty chuffed that we nailed it!

Well done girls - you’re ICONIC!!

The Euphoria festivals remain the only ones I've photographed or attended as a parent that has a SEN section. How? Why? It's just so utterly incredible and uplifting. Please, please, if you run a festival look at adding a SEN section to your program - you won't regret it.

A low angle...
Being on the front of a studio theatre allows me to explore capturing different angles at a dance festival. What I discovered is that a low angle of commercial routines really works.

Wow! What an incredible three days it was at the Summer Performer’s Festival in Hull. Off-the-scale talent, an adjudicator who gave so much amazing feedback even I learned a thing or two, and all run by an incredible team who go out of their way to put on a cracking event for all. I was chuffed to be a part of it and I’m pleased to say that all the photos are now available online to view and order. If you didn’t get the password please use the password request link on the gallery.

We’re working through the in-person pre-orders first then moving on to the online orders. Please be patient - I no longer do automatic downloads as I like to ensure only the best quality photos are being sent out and personally check each and every one.

It was great to speak with parents and dancers and I know my wife, who was there helping, enjoyed meeting you all. If you were there for the improv last night and happened to film the adult section, please delete it - nobody needs to see my “Dad Dancing” 😂

I'm at the Euphoria Dance Events Yorkshire Summer Performers Festival from 12th to 14th August. When I last did a Euphoria festival in March the number of orders was huge. As we're heading away on holiday shortly after the festival we wanted to offer a deal to ensure we can get as many done before we go as we can - so pre-ordering is the way. My lovely wife, Helen, will be running a desk at the festival taking orders - but it is cash only I'm afraid.

Which is your favourite urban black and white with Jess shot?
It started with one in black and white, then two, then three and then I bit the bullet and just made the series monochrome. I just had to post all 9, as it felt cruel to leave any out!

Holly really turned up the dial on by adding the leather jacket! Incredible!
