After two years of running around in festivals, our little film "The Wanting" finally comes home 🍀
Its most notable adventures include:
Winning Best Screenplay in a short film at Mor Media Charity Cornwall Film Festival (still can't get over that one 🥰)
Selected at Chania Film Festival , Setting Sun Film Festival , Cardiff Mini Film Festival and last but not least, Manakia Film Festival of Fine Arts (the closest one to Kourouna!)
We made it during a time where more things made sense, and it helped -me at least- make sense of stuff since. So it's absolutely fitting to offer another round of deep deep thanks to my loves with whom I shared the creative process with ❤

This film is dedicated to him. Apart from him freely offering us his house and writing advice, this film was made when our incredible gem of a friendship was flourishing, and a bit before it was cut off way, way too early. We miss you man.

We never thought we were going to post something like this, especially not now.

Our dearest friend, close collaborator and local legend Keith Williams, has sadly passed away.

To say we're devastated would be an understatement. It's frankly surreal.

Keith helped us immensely with "The Wanting", offering us his beautiful house to shoot the film, and gave us the privelege of his trust to produce his film "Morgue".
This would be just the beginning, he always said.
We are happy that he at least got to see it on the big screen, receiving praise for his work.

He was loved, and he loved back, with the entirety all of his gold heart.

We will miss you so much, Keith. We will miss your humour, your stories about your adventures in Hollywood, your hilarious Christmas and birthday cards.

It's on us now to push forward, and champion his passion for the future.

We'll keep working, spreading the word about your film, and most of all, we'll stay weird. As you would have wanted.

Two years, one pandemic and several moves to different countries by some of the crew later -- we proudly announce that "The Wanting" is ready, and on its way to film festivals!

Our new short film's premise is:
"Adam goes to his estranged father’s wake, avoiding his own estranged daughter’s birthday. There, he meets his step-family for the first time and, getting a different vibe than expected, he wonders whether the old bastard has any more lessons for him."

A deeply personal film, for which we can't thank our good friends who helped us enough. They brought their excellent craft, good vibes and patience, and the end result is something that we hope will make everyone proud.

Meet our Director- Keith Williams () and our Cinematographer- Oliver Biggs ().

Keith is back at the director's chair after years of experience writing music videos in Hollywood in the 80's (for the likes of Elton John, Tina Turner, even the Ghostbusters music video!)

Oliver is part of the rising wave of independent artists in South Wales; and already taking the scene up by storm.

It's a wrap on "Morgue"! We're so happy to see the project that Keith Williams trusted us with - more than a couple of years ago - finally coming to (after)life!
Our warmest thanks to our beautiful cast and crew that gave its heart and soul -- we'll get up close to every one in our usual shower of Behind the Scenes photos that follow -- stay tuned!

"The Midnight Court and Other Aislings" has been selected for the 2020 Still Voices Short Film Festival! We are extremely proud and humbled to be among such a crowd.

It's a shame that it's not going to be possible to go to Ballymahon and meet with everyone, but we can't wait to watch the other selections online on August 13-16!
