เมื่อวันที่ ๖ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๖๗ นายสธน เกษมสันต์ ณ อยุธยา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ ได้พบหารือกับนาง Sanja Celebic Lukovac หัวหน้าสำนักงาน International Organization for Migration (IOM) ประจำประเทศกรีซ ในโอกาสที่นาง Celebic Lukovac เพิ่งเข้ารับหน้าที่ ณ ที่ทำการ IOM ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและความเห็นอย่างกว้างขวางเกี่ยวกับนโยบายและแนวทางการบริหารจัดการผู้อพยพย้ายถิ่นในภาพรวม และในบริบทของประเทศกรีซ อีกทั้งแสดงความพร้อมที่จะร่วมมือกันในกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ที่เหมาะสมในอนาคต

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic Met with the New Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration in Greece 🤝🏻

On 6 November 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, had a fruitful meeting with Mrs. Sanja Celebic Lukovac, the new Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Greece, at the IOM premises. Both sides exchanged information and views on the policy and measures in the management of migration in general and in the context of Greece. They also expressed their willingness to cooperate in related activities in the future.

On 22 October 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens organised a wreath-laying ceremony for the Memorial Day of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn at the Ambassador’s Residence. H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, presided over the ceremony and led the Embassy’s officials and staff, as well as Thai nationals residing in the Hellenic Republic to pay homage to His Majesty King Chulalongkorn on behalf of the Thai communities in the Hellenic Republic, the Republic of Malta, and the Republic of Serbia.

📢 เนื่องจากในช่วงที่ผ่านมา สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้รับทราบว่ามีนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติรวมถึงคนไทย ถูกโจรกรรมโดยการล้วงกระเป๋าหรือลักขโมยทรัพย์สิน รวมถึง #หนังสือเดินทาง ระหว่างท่องเที่ยวในกรีซ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในบริเวณใกล้สถานที่ท่องเที่ยว Acropolis ในกรุงเอเธนส์ จึงขอเตือนให้นักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยทุกท่าน เพิ่มความระมัดระวังเวลาที่เดินทางไปในสถานที่ต่าง ๆ โดยเฉพาะในสถานที่ที่มีคนพลุกพล่าน รวมถึงสถานีรถไฟใต้ดิน และไม่หลงเชื่อคนแปลกหน้า ทั้งนี้ หากไม่มีความจำเป็น ขอแนะนำให้เก็บหนังสือเดินทางไว้ในที่พัก หรือขอให้ระมัดระวังในการนำหนังสือเดินทางติดตัวระหว่างเดินทางท่องเที่ยว โดยควรถ่ายสำเนาหนังสือเดินทางและวีซ่าแยกเก็บไว้ด้วย

เมื่อวันที่ ๒๙ กันยายน ๒๕๖๙ นายสธน เกษมสันต์ ณ อยุธยา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีปิดและพิธีมอบรางวัลการแข่งขันวิทยาการหุ่นยนต์ First Global Challenge 2024 ณ สนามกีฬา Peace and Friendship เมือง Piraeus ประเทศกรีซ และให้กำลังใจทีมนักเรียนไทยที่เข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน โดยในปีนี้ หัวข้อของการแข่งขัน คือ “Feeding the Future” เพื่อแสดงถึงความสำคัญของระบบการผลิตอาหารที่ยั่งยืน ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในความท้าทายหลักของโลกในยุคปัจจุบัน โดยในแต่ละเกม นักเรียนใช้หุ่นยนต์แข่งขันในการขนส่งน้ำและพลังงานไปใช้ในการผลิตและเก็บสะสมอาหาร

🏆🤖🇬🇷 Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand Attended the Award and Closing Ceremony of the First Global Challenge 2024 🇹🇭

On 29 September 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, attended the Award and Closing Ceremony of the First Global Challenge 2024 at Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece. The Ambassador also cheered Thai students who competed in this robotic competition. This year’s First Global Challenge theme is “Feeding the Future” to address the sustainable food production, which is one of the defining challenges in the world today. In each game, students are required to maneuver their robots in a simulated world to transfer water and energy, and produce and store food.

เมื่อวันที่ ๒๖ กันยายน ๒๕๖๗ นายสธน เกษมสันต์ ณ อยุธยา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ ได้รับเชิญให้เข้าร่วมในพิธีเปิดการแข่งขัน First Global Challenge 2024 ซึ่งเป็นการแข่งขันวิทยาการหุ่นยนต์สำหรับนักเรียนทั่วโลก ณ สนามกีฬา Panathenaic กรุงเอเธนส์ ประเทศกรีซ การแข่งขันครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ ๒๖ - ๒๙ กันยายน ๒๕๖๗ มีผู้เข้าร่วมกว่า ๓,๐๐๐ คนจากมากกว่า ๑๙๐ ประเทศทั่วโลก โดยนาย Dimitris Papastergiou รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการกำกับดูแลด้านดิจิทัลของกรีซ และนาย Konstantinos Kyranakis รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงการกำกับดูแลด้านดิจิทัลของกรีซ เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงาน

นอกจากนี้ เมื่อวันที่ ๒๗ กันยายน ๒๕๖๗ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้พบปะและให้กำลังใจทีมนักเรียนไทย และครูที่ปรึกษา ซึ่งเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันวิทยาการหุ่นยนต์ ณ สนามกีฬา Peace and Friendship เมือง Piraeus ประเทศกรีซ อีกทั้งได้นำอาหารไทยไปเติมพลังให้กับทีมไทยแลนด์ด้วย

🇹🇭 Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand Attended the Opening Ceremony of the First Global Challenge 2024 🏆🤖🇬🇷

On 26 September 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, was invited to attend the Opening Ceremony of the First Global Challenge 2024, which is a World Student Robotics Competition, at Panathenaic Stadium in Athens, Greece. More than 3,000 students from over 190 countries are expected to participate and showcase their robotic skills in this remarkable event, which takes place from 26 – 29 September 2024. H.E. Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou, Minister of Digital Governance of the Hellenic Republic, and H.E. Mr. Konstantinos Kyranakis, Deputy Minister of Digital Governance of the Hellenic Republic, jointly delivered opening remarks.

On 27 September 2024, the Ambassador met with Thai students and their mentors and cheered Team Thailand as they competed in robotic matches at Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece. The Embassy also brought some Thai food to the team.

📌 Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic Met with the Hellenic – ASEAN Business Council 🇮🇩🇵🇭🇹🇭🇻🇳🇬🇷

On 25 September 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic and current Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee in Athens (ACAT), together with the Ambassadors of Indonesia, the Philippines and Viet Nam, had a fruitful discussion with Mr. Nick Stasinopoulos, Chairman of the Hellenic – ASEAN Business Council (HABC). They exchanged views on the promotion of trade and investment cooperation between ASEAN and Greece, as well as the expansion of collaboration between the ACAT Embassies and HABC.

เมื่อวันที่ ๑๘ กันยายน ๒๕๖๗ นายสธน เกษมสันต์ ณ อยุธยา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ ได้พบหารือกับนาย Spyridon Voulgaris อธิบดีกรมเอเชียและโอเชียเนีย ณ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐเฮลเลนิก เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคี โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการลงนามในบันทึกความเข้าใจว่าด้วยการจัดตั้งกลไกการหารือทวิภาคีระหว่างกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทยกับกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแห่งสาธารณรัฐเฮลเลนิก และการอำนวยความสะดวกในการเดินทางระหว่างประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ใช้โอกาสนี้ในการชี้แจงนโยบายด้านการทูตเศรษฐกิจของไทย นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ทางการเมืองและเศรษฐกิจที่กำลังได้รับความสนใจในปัจจุบัน

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic Met with Director of A9 Directorate for Asia and Oceania 🇹🇭 🇬🇷 🤝🏻

On 18 September 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, had a fruitful meeting with H.E. Mr. Spyridon Voulgaris, Director of A9 Directorate for Asia and Oceania, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. They discussed on ways to strengthen bilateral relations, especially the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Bilateral Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, and the facilitation of people-to-people exchanges. The Ambassador also apprised the Director of Thailand’s proactive economic diplomacy. Moreover, both sides exchanged views and information on the current politico-economic situations in the world.

เมื่อวันที่ ๙ กันยายน ๒๕๖๗ นายสธน เกษมสันต์ ณ อยุธยา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ ในฐานะเอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำสาธารณรัฐเซอร์เบีย ถิ่นพำนัก ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ ได้พบหารือกับนาย Nikola Nedeljković เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเซอร์เบียประจำสาธารณัฐเฮลเลนิกคนใหม่ โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ แสดงความยินดีในโอกาสที่นาย Nedeljković เข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ และทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการขยายความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีในด้านต่าง ๆ การแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนทั้งระดับรัฐบาลและประชาชน การจัดตั้งกลไกการหารือทางการเมืองระดับทวิภาคีระหว่างกระทรวงการต่างประเทศของทั้งสองประเทศ ตลอดจนการเชิญประเทศไทยเข้าร่วมงาน Specialised Expo 2027 ซึ่งรัฐบาลเซอร์เบียจะเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดขึ้นในปี 2570

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Serbia Met with Ambassador Designate of the Republic of Serbia to the Hellenic Republic 🇹🇭 🇷🇸

On 9 September 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Serbia with residence in Athens, had an amicable meeting with Mr. Nikola Nedeljković, Ambassador Designate of the Republic of Serbia to the Hellenic Republic. The Thai Ambassador congratulated Mr. Nedeljković on his assumption of duty and welcome him to Athens. Both sides exchanged views on the strengthening of bilateral relations in areas of mutual interests. They also discussed the exchange of visits at both governmental and people-to-people levels, the establishment of the bilateral political consultation mechanism between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the Republic of Serbia, as well as Thailand’s participation in the Specialised Expo 2027 hosted by the Serbian Government in 2027.

เมื่อวันที่ 7 กันยายน 2567 นายสธน เกษมสันต์ ณ อยุธยา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ ได้นำคณะเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เดินทางไปจัดกิจกรรมกงสุลสัญจรที่เกาะครีต ณ โรงแรม Olive Green เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกในการทำหนังสือเดินทาง การรับรองเอกสาร และสูติบัตร ตลอดจนให้คำแนะนำด้านกงสุลแก่คนไทยที่พำนักบนเกาะครีต นอกจากนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยังได้พบปะชุมชนไทย และเยี่ยมเยียนกิจการของคนไทยบนเกาะครีตด้วย

The Embassy’s Mobile Consular Unit in Crete, Greece 🏝️🇬🇷

On 7 September 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, along with the staff from the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens organised a mobile consular unit at Olive Green Hotel to provide passport, legalisation and birth certificate services, as well as consular consultations to Thai nationals residing in Crete. The Ambassador also met the Thai community and visited Thai businesses there.

เมื่อวันที่ ๖ กันยายน ๒๕๖๗ นายสธน เกษมสันต์ ณ อยุธยา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการอาเซียน ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ (ASEAN Committee in Athens หรือ ACAT) ได้นำเอกอัครราชทูตประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนในกรุงเอเธนส์ ประกอบด้วย อินโดนีเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ และเวียดนาม เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนาย Stavros Arnaoutakis ผู้ว่าการเกาะครีต ณ ที่ทำการผู้ว่าการฯ เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการแสวงหาความร่วมมือระหว่างอาเซียนกับเกาะครีต ซึ่งเป็นเกาะที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดของกรีซ และเพื่อสร้างความตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับอาเซียนให้มากขึ้น โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ให้สัมภาษณ์สื่อมวลชนโทรทัศน์ของท้องถิ่นด้วย

หลังจากนั้น เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เป็นประธานจัดการประชุม ACAT ครั้งที่ ๓๔ ที่เกาะครีต เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับแผนงานการจัดกิจกรรมของ ACAT ในช่วงหลังของปี ๒๕๖๗ ซึ่งประเทศไทยเป็นประธาน ตลอดจนแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นในประเด็นต่าง ๆ เกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานของ ACAT โดยมีเป้าหมายในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างอาเซียนกับกรีซให้มากขึ้น

📌 Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, along with ASEAN Ambassadors in Athens, Paid a Joint Courtesy Call on the Regional Governor of Crete and Hosted the 34th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Athens 🇮🇩🇵🇭🇹🇭🇻🇳🇬🇷

On 6 September 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic and current Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee in Athens (ACAT), led the Ambassadors of Indonesia, the Philippines and Viet Nam to pay a joint courtesy call on Mr. Stavros Arnaoutakis, Regional Governor of Crete, at the Governor’s office. They exchanged views on the promotion of cooperation between ASEAN and Crete, Greece’s largest island, as well as to raise the awareness of ASEAN in Crete. The Ambassador also gave an interview to the local television stations.

Later, the Ambassador hosted the 34th Meeting of the ACAT in Crete, which was also attended by the Ambassadors of Indonesia, the Philippines and Viet Nam. They discussed the work plan of the ACAT for the rest of 2024 during the Chairmanship of Thailand and exchanged views on the ACAT’s administrative operation in order to expand ASEAN-Greece cooperation in areas of mutual interests.
