🌟 Empowering Young Minds: AGM Inc. Partners with Volunteer Partners to Equip Students for Success 🌟

At AGM Inc., we believe that education is the cornerstone of a brighter and more prosperous future. That's why we are proud to partner with Volunteer Partners in their mission to uplift children living in adverse circumstances by providing them with the essential school supplies they need to excel in the upcoming academic year.

As the new school term approaches, many families in our community face the challenge of affording basic school necessities for their children. Volunteer Partners, led by the inspiring Bonita Henry, has stepped in to fill this gap, working tirelessly to ensure that no child is left behind due to financial hardship. Through their initiative, scheduled for August 25th, 2024, children from underprivileged backgrounds will receive much-needed items such as notebooks, pencils, backpacks, and more.

AGM Inc.'s support for this initiative reflects our deep commitment to the communities we serve. "We are dedicated to the well-being and development of our communities, and education is a cornerstone of that commitment," said Ragunauth Ramsaroop, Liaison Manager for AGM Inc. "By supporting Volunteer Partners, we are not just providing school supplies; we are investing in the future of our country and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential."

This initiative is more than just a donation—it’s a chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of young students who might otherwise face a challenging start to the school year. We believe that by equipping these students with the tools they need, we are helping to build a foundation for their success, instilling confidence, and fostering a sense of belonging as they embark on their educational journey.

AGM Inc. has a long-standing tradition of supporting educational initiatives across Guyana, and this latest contribution aligns perfectly with our broader philosophy of 'mining for a better society.' We see our success as intertwined with the social progress of our communities, and we are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the next generation.

We encourage other organizations and individuals to join us in this noble cause. Together, we can make a significant impact, ensuring that every child starts the school year on equal footing, ready to learn and thrive.

Let’s come together to invest in the future of our country—because every child deserves the chance to succeed.

On Saturday, August 17th, the Association of Chinese Enterprises in Guyana, along with its members, actively participated in the national clean-up exercise. We are proud to highlight that our member, AGM/Zijin Mining, contributed to the cause by donating two grass cutters to the Ministry of Public Works, which were graciously received by the Honorable Minister, Bishop Juan Edghill.

We urge the citizens of Guyana to maintain clean and healthy environments by properly disposing of waste and refraining from illegal dumping, which has detrimental effects on our communities and the environment. Clean surroundings not only enhance the beauty of our nation but also promote public health and safety.

The Association of Chinese Enterprises in Guyana is proud to have been a part of this important initiative and remains committed to supporting efforts that benefit our community and the environment. Let’s all work together to keep Guyana clean!
