It was the first time for the students from the “Well Dunk” 《邨Jump》basketball programme organised by  to visit Beijing. We were all delighted to meet our artist Ren Zhe, and to have his philosophies shared with the students.

We believe this trip provided the students with a comprehensive understanding of the country's development through sports, culture and business, and we hope that the experience they gained from this trip will help them to live a positive life in the future!

We are glad to share that “From the Clouds ”by Ren Zhe, will be offered at the upcoming Modern Night Auction at Sotheby’s Hong Kong on April 5th.
The work is available for viewing at Sotheby’s preview at the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre throughout this week.

武士風華正茂，箭指蒼穹，逐光而行，隨心所向。赤子之心，是踏 遍世間琳琅仍銘記來時初衷，是希望燃燒殆盡時光明依舊。世間萬 物終將消逝，唯赤子之心常存，方能感悟生命的無盡遼闊；縱使人 生短暫一途，也因內心的光明而熠熠生輝。

Standing proud in an extraordinary manner, “child at heart” is a form of perseverance that always maintains one’s original intent. It enables us to discover ourselves as we move forward through all the ups and downs. It enlightens and reminds us to never forget our unyielding love for life.
In his glory and elegance, the warrior points his arrow towards the sky. Having a youthful heart means walking all over the planet whilst remembering one’s initial intention and hoping that light will remain even when it is burning out. Eventually, everything will vanish but the only thing that will endure is one’s youthful heart. Despite how short life is, it will shine from within.

Infinite Spirit of Allegiance

Ren Zhe participated in the auctions with "Infinite Spirit of Allegiance." The sculpture displays the artist's first-rate technique and fine spirit, which perfectly highlights the harmony of heaven, man and earth.

Ren Zhe's Tower of Strength "中流砥柱" been delivered to the lobby of the client's office. The sculpture's form and spirit convey stability and unity with a gallant and lofty tone, which immediately enhances the majestic and broad momentum in space.

The warrior effortlessly supports a piece of Taihu stone on his back, which resembles the shape of a powerful bull - instilling a strong sense of orientalism and heroism. Through this work of art, the artist attempts to emphasise the hardships and responsibilities that people are bound to face along the course of life but he reminds us that it is imperative to stay hopeful and determined whilst overcoming these obstacles.

藝術家任哲通過其雕塑作品中典型的麻繩元素，以其型、其意象徵數以萬計細小的力量凝聚為一體，萬眾一心，可終如城牆般堅不可摧。同時，他借助金屬需要不斷的打磨、拋光的過程，鼓勵青年們在成長過程中，不斷磨煉、不斷挑戰昨日的自我，成為自己人生之路的主導者，最終成就精彩而輝煌的人生。

H**p ropes - which are made by braiding individual yarns together into a larger and stronger form - is a recurring theme you can find in Ren Zhe’s all-stainless-steel sculptures. It symbolises unity and the formidable power of teamwork.

The beauty of the sculpture’s colour and texture can be brought out naturally by constant smoothing and polishing of its stainless steel surface. It reminds us to never give up on a dream just becausethe time it will take, as most of the important things in the worldhave been accomplished by people who kept on trying.

在中國傳統曆法中，十二種動物代表年份同十二地支相對，週而復始，生生不息。生肖取數十二，正出於古人對自然事物變遷、季節更替的歸納性認識。 “掌十有二岁、十有二月、十有二辰”，寒暑交替，植物枯榮，十二月即為“一歲”；十二生肖配以人類出生年份，以十二種不同性情的動物影射人類道德品格，強調了動物在人類生活中的重要意義，更體現了天人合一的哲學思想。

In the traditional Chinese calendar, twelve years are a cycle and each year is represented by an animal, they are recurring and endless. The number twelve is stemmed from seasonal changes in the nature - twelve months represents a cycle in which constitute how plants bloom in the summer and die in the fall. The twelve zodiac each symbolizes a different temperament, highlighting the importance of animals in human lives, and embodies the philosophical thinking of uniting nature and man.

Gleaming with wisdom and tranquility, 'Utmost Wonder' aptly depicts the inner world of the central figure. Seated pensively atop an exquisite Taihu rock, the warrior gazes into sublimity and takes in the majestic grandeur before his eyes.

He keeps a calm heart and is not distracted - merely focusing on simplicity as the warrior enters the highest state of supreme philosophy. This sculpture expresses the artist's yearning for such a state of being, unlocking a spirit that arouses calmness and beauty in others, ultimately opening the door to the 'Utmost Wonder'.

This month, we are delighted to announce that as an extension to Ren Zhe’s large-scale solo exhibition Genesis that took place at the Ping An Finance Centre (Shenzhen) in January, Genesis will be making its debut in Yizhuangzhen, Beijing. Drawing on the concept of art and technology, Ren Zhe hopes to bridge together the novel elements of his immersive light installation alongside sculptures such as The Homecoming Warrior and his 12 Zodiacs series. In conjunction with the Tech-Art Festival, this exhibition will be on view from 29 May until 29 August.
