The beautiful and historic Kyoto is home to many coffee brands full of personality. This summer, we have partnered with Kyoto Express Coffee to present the Tabinone X Kyoto Express Coffee Sharing Event to give coffee enthusiasts the chance to learn more about small coffee roastery Tabinoto from Kyoto’s Sakyo Ward.

🔎About the Brand: Tabinone
The owner and chief roaster, Mr Kitakage, personally sources coffee beans from small-scale farmers. These beans of different cultivars offer a wide variety of distinct characters. At their small roastery, Tabinone roasts the coffee beans with a farm-to-cup approach, aiming to convey the terroir and stories of the origin. The roasters and baristas at Tabinone strive to bring out the true beauty of these small-farm coffees, which is the essence of their pursuit of “delicious coffee”.

🎉Coffee-sharing Event Overview
Tabinone’s roaster Ikeo Tenta will be hosting a coffee-sharing event with Kyoto Express Coffee, offering a free, one-hour coffee tasting session and sharing with coffee enthusiasts. Aside from the best-selling Ethiopian, Honduran and Guatemalan single-origin drip bags, he will also bring along a selection of Kyoto-exclusive specialty drip bags, which will be available only at New Town Plaza store.
