Amaro is a traditional Italian drink. After aperitifs, “bitter” alcoholic beverages is the second most flourishing industry: Italians like to drink amaro after their coffee, at the end of a meal or even during the day, as an invigorating drink with a strong flavor.
Which wine you drink more red or white ? 🍷🥂🍸 Soranì
Primitivo di Manduria
Soranì is the name of the place where Masseria Surani is situated. We have imagined this unique and fascinating location as a woman, Soranì, whose picture is therefore on the labels: a woman who is mysterious, elegant, and passionate, like the area she represents.
Intense, rich ruby red, with classic notes of red fruit, black cherry and plum, followed by delicate spicy notes of licorice, to***co, and amaretto.

The ancient legend tells the story of the mermaid Parthenope, who created this dessert and is considered the mythological founder of Naples. During her spring stay in the Gulf of Naples, she cheered the people with a song. As a sign of gratitude, the Neapolitans gave Parthenope seven gifts, including:
Ricotta, a symbol of abundance
Flour, a symbol of wealth
Eggs, a symbol of fertility
Wheat in milk, a symbol of the fusion of the animal and vegetable kingdoms
Sugar, to celebrate the sweet song of Parthenope
Spice, a tribute to all people
And orange flowers, the perfume of the Campania earth
Parthenope then brought these gifts to the gods, who were impressed and mixed the ingredients to create the Pastiera napoletana. Parthenope was then compelled to return to where she had received the gifts to pay tribute to the Neapolitan people.
Romanesco broccoli—despite its name—is neither a broccoli nor a cauliflower, even though it belongs to the same family of brassicas. But one thing is for sure: This plant is not only one of the most stunning vegetables you can grow in your garden, it's a mathematical marvel whose fractals (based on the Fibonacci sequence) are a striking, naturally occurring feature. Come to Osteria Marzia and try it yourself 😋
Most of the people think that Gin comes from England or Ireland. But it is not true! What actually very few know: Gin is originally from the Netherlands. Since the Middle Ages people knew about the medical effects and the disinfectant healing power of juniper berries which were consumed to fight against fever and even the pest. The dutch doctor Franciscus Sylvius de la Boe is the inventor of Gin. In the 16th century, he made a schnaps distilled with juniper berries, so called “Genever” (in dutch: juniper berry) which was consumed for medical purposes. During the Eighty Year’s War (1568-1648) the dutch soldiers were supposed to drink the “Genever” to feel brave. In the 17th century “Genever” came to England, where the originally “Genever” developed to the today’s “Gin”.
