Last week, we hosted a debate workshop with the theme "ELEVATING DEBATES, NURTURING MINDS." 🗣️✨

We had the pleasure of having Jaodun Muntasir, a national debate champion and Overall Best Speaker in several forums, as our speaker. He shared valuable insights on formal debating styles, rules, and the art of crafting compelling arguments.💡

Today, we students from the ELTE culture club had a meeting and informal chat with American undergraduate students who are here in Europe on an exchange program in three countries: Serbia, Hungary, and Austria.

We had a fruitful discussion on various topics about most pressing sociopolitical and economic challenges. It was an amazing experience to hear different opinions and comparing how US and EU approach challenges to war, peace, democracy migration and humanitarianism.

Walk around Budapest

Tomorrow we have a walk around Budapest starting from ELTE northern Building to the Hungarian parliament building. We will start walking at 15:00. The exact route and transit places are already described. You can bring your friends too. See you tomorrow.

Hi! This information is about our next event. We will go on a walk across Budapest on the 9th. We start from the Faculty north building and walk to Szent Gellert Ter cross over the Green Bridge to Fovam Ter and walk all the way to Kalvin Ter, from there we turn left on to kecskemeti u. and walk to Egyetem ter (the main building of Eotvos Lorand Unversity) and keep walking straight to ferenciek tere from where we take slight left to take vaci u. and walk straight on vorosmarty ter on to erzsebet ter and then to the szent istvan bazilika. From here we walk to kossuth lajos ter where the Parliament is. You are welcome to bring your friends too. Here is the link of the actual route.

It will take around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach us at the parliament Building. After that we will have drinks at the Kredit Bar at the Jokai utca 36. Those people who dont want to walk can join us at the bar around 5:30 - 6:00 pm.

Today first meeting of ELTE culture club held in which students from different departments participated. Firstly Mr.Sumit Kumar, phD student and instructor at ELTE introduced the culture club and defined its goals. Later students shared their ideas and opinions, they formed different faculties within club, each faculty is in charge of organizing specific events.

As more people are becoming part of our culture club, we felt need to again describe our purpose. We stand here to organize the student community by creating a platform which will give them an opportunity to plan different events by themselves. These events include the outdoor tours,, sports activities, discussion panels, debates, movies and music programs and many more.
