Pig slaughter is a popular tradition during winter time in Hungary.

It may sound brutal but the outcome is delicious: hungarian sausages (blood, liver or regular sausage) or pork belly!

To show you these special traditional hungarian flavours, we are inviting you to taste our „disznótoros” pig plate between 28 February-13 March on our Intermezzo Roof Terrace.

We created a selection with different kind of sausages, meats, white cabbage, pickled cauliflower to attract you. Also a shot of „Palinka” is included which cannot be missed.

Ahogy arról korábban beszámoltunk, a Hotel President évek óta nagy hangsúlyt fektet a társadalmi felelősségvállalásra, munkatársainkkal évente legalább egyszer jótékonykodunk, mert fontosnak tartjuk, hogy segítsünk.
2021-ben a pandémia által okozott változásokat is figyelembe véve sajnos nem tudtunk partnereinkkel találkozni, ezért úgy döntöttünk, hogy a partner találkozókra, ajándékokra elkülönített pénzt idén év elején jótékony célra fordítjuk. Így most vasárnap, a Heti betevő Egyesületnek vittünk 250 adag süteményt& gyümölcsöt és kollégáinkkal segítettünk ételt csomagolni, osztani. Mi is valljuk az ő hitvallásukat, mégpedig, hogy „Mindenkinek jár egy igazi, tartalmas ebéd legalább hetente egyszer.”

This Sunday part of our staff helped Heti betevő to pack more than 250 portions of food for those in need-we even had the chance to distribute food and meet these people. We hope that we made positive impact in our community.

The Museum of Fine Arts next to the City Park and Hero Square is hosting a show linked to Cezanne; a must have to visit until the 13th of February.
To get aquinted with Hungarian art as well, check out „Pál Szinyei Merse” exhibition in the Hungarian National Gallery, located in the Castle district. Szinyei is an outstanding master of 19th century Hungarian painting and this time you can see his key works together with some other famous Hungarian painters.
Both exhibitions are available until the 13th of February from Tuesdays until Sundays between 10.00-17.00 and for those who love museum shops: dont miss them they have the cutest&coolest souvenirs

Treat yourself with hot thermal water after the holidays and visit Széchenyi bath, one of the largest bath complexes in Europe. There are 18 pools, 10 saunas/steam cabins, several massage options, facial treatments. Moreover the building itself looks like a Palace-located in the city park.
