Resort • Beach Club • Creative Playground Like its counterpart in Jakarta, the continually evolving artisanal cocktails at PHBC are a high point.
Designed by acclaimed architect Andra Matin as a modern take on the Coliseum, the towering elliptical façade is crafted in Potato Head’s seminal trademark of mismatched 18th century teak shutters collected from across the Indonesian archipelago. The beachfront bar and 500-square meter emerald lawn leading to an infinity pool is all housed inside a state-of-the-art amphitheater. Drawing focus on th

Welcoming ‘The Flag Project’ by Arahmaiani to the Desa.
How do we want to live in harmony with our planet? Who will we be to each other?
Arahmaiani has sought to answer these questions throughout this career spanning work. Each flag features a woven word reflecting ideas, values, and messages of hope held at the centre of communities from across Indonesia:
‘TAKSU’ – the Balinese word for a ‘spirit or state of being in balance with human and divine qualities’.
‘GUYUB’ – is the word for ‘harmonious / unity’ in Javanese.
‘EWAKO’ – meaning ‘courage’ from Makassar and more.
The dance of these flags encourages us to contemplate the complex human experience we all share.

Our celebration of wellness continued with more insightful Merasa classes, workshops, and talks across Desa Potato Head.
On Wednesday, we pushed the boundaries of strength and flexibility with Branden Collinsworth’s Embodied Flow, sampled nesut nectar eye drops at Visionary Visions with KT The Arch Degree, and embraced the transformative element of fire via Tjok Gde Kerthyasa’s Pasepan ceremony.
Thursday saw us embrace creativity at Potato Head Waste Lab’s Natural Dye Workshop, dive into sound via NOTEP’s Vibrations of Water meditation, and surrender to inner harmony in Fa’ Pawaka and Dambi’s Tilem new moon ritual.
The 7 Days of Regeneration come to an end with a closing ceremony this Saturday, 8 June.
Tuesday at Merasa.
The 7 Days of Regeneration continued at our Desa today, with some amazing classes and talks from our wellness family.
From the conscious breathwork of Serenity Tuesday with Fa’ Pawaka and G*to Latex to the Tirta talk on the Sacred Life of Water with Tjok Gde Kerthyasa, it’s been another full day of transformative Merasa exchange.
Movement and music were key themes during today’s offerings. Pierre Zylstra led us through a session of playful moves connecting us to the ground beneath our feet, Waangenga Blanco helped us connect with body and breath via his Intuitive Movement Workshop, and Bruno Sitton and friends brought music (and a refreshing cup of tea) to the meditation in their Resonance session.
The journey continues throughout the week.
Under the Rising Sun.
Merasa continues at the Desa with this morning’s energy activation ritual. The session saw Kim Herben, Rafi Muhammad and Kevin Suwandhi guiding us towards higher vibrations to start the day in the best possible way.

What an amazing night. Erykah and her band brought the house down during a soul-drenched Desa Potato Head show. Sending love and thanks to everyone who was part of it — the incredible crowd, the talented performers, and all those who worked hard to bring it to life.
Now for Merasa!
Dance with the family all night long, this Friday night as we welcome back HAAi to the Desa, alongside our resident Dita at Klymax discotheque.
See you under the disco ball 🪩
