My yoga classes are focused on mental and physical wellness, including breath work, meditation/relaxation, and physical practice. The classes are focused on community gatherings, relaxation and nurturing time for the body, mind, and soul in a wonderful setting.

We are in a New Moon lunar phase which represents new beginnings and possibilities and it is the perfect time to set intentions.
The ancient Vedic texts known as the Upanishads says,
“You are what your deepest desire is.
As is your desire, so is your intention.
As is your intention, so is your will.
As is your will, so is your deed.
As is your deed, so is your destiny.”
Our destiny ultimately comes from the deepest level of desire and also from the deepest level of intention.

We give our system a moment to drop into the here and now where anxiety, tension, fear or worry cannot hijack our attention.
This means, simply spending time with earth can be the most potent medicine ar times.

Appreciating your own worth, we are ready to see & respect the worth of others. We radiate trust and hope. We don’t have rules against anything we feel. And we also know that we don’t have to act on everything we feel. We can choose. We accept all of ourselves as humans.❤️🙏

It's easy to get caught up in the discipline of asana practice or to think we are not good enough because we can't do all the poses.
But one of the most uplifting teachings of yoga is that we are NOT our bodies or our minds. Both the poses and discipline are there to help us realise we are so much more.
Whether it's chanting, breath work - pranayama, mindful movement, meditation - the aim is always the same.
To see beyond every day stresses & strains. To connect to what remains true despite the changing nature of everyday life.
Let's not worry so much about the body image. Because we only live in them for a short while. Too short to spend worrying.
Once we realise this, we can appreciate how incredible every single body is- whatever form it takes. A home to rest in for a while. A home to feel at home in.
Whatever yoga school you believe in, aim of all yoga practises and philosophies is the same - liberation.
This is a quick reminder that classes are back next week - 12th September.

Rest is not just about pausing the body from action. It's about allowing our mind and body a break from their habitual response to life. Which, for many of us, includes overthinking, self criticizing and over analyzing everything we do…

**CLASSES UPDATE**
I am still on the summer break and enjoying last summer weeks with my family. But very soon, after we all settle into our normal routines and kids are back to school, yoga classes will resume.
Stay tuned and will let you know shortly when we are back on the mat. We will start with the same Thursday 6:30pm and 8pm classes. Depending on demand I maight add class on Tuesdays as well.
The space is limited and if you have already decided to join the class, please drop me a DM and I will reserve the space for you.

FEELING STUCK

There is an energy, a tenacity of life that is trying to pour through me. But often times it encounters resistance as I look around my reality and notice many things that could be better, I am dissatisfied with what is.
This energy of vitality gets clogged and stuck.
But as I release this resistance to my reality needing to be any different than it is, in order for me to harness my happiness, joy, and satisfaction, this energy is liberated to RAISE ME UP as opposed to improve and change and alter reality around me.
You deserve to be happy.
Life is not frustrating you.
You are frustrating yourself in response to life.
Release the frustration and liberate your vitality.
Relax and open your heart.
And love yourself

In fact, one of the great paradoxes of human experience is that we cannot change ourselves or our circumstances until we accept what exists right now.

As a human species one of our primal need is human connection.
Making friends is not an easy task and we need to show our friends that we care about them and that we respect their feelings and their ideas. A good friend can be one of the most important things in our lives. We can learn a lot from our friends. We can learn how to be better people and how to be more productive members of society. Because friendship is a bond that is built on trust, support, and understanding. It is often easy to find a friend, but it's hard to keep one. 🫶
