UCC Rovers

In a college where you have every option for every interest, something was missing. Rovers is the only place on campus to find all this!

A place for fire-side sing songs, late night cups of tea, and true freedom to create your own sense of adventure.

Rovers have put a team forward to participate in movember this year! A number of our committee members have also taken on the role of student ambassadors for the UCC Movember campaign. As well as Jacques, Andrew and Michael growing some Mos for the cause, the girls on the committee have been taking part behind the scenes organising events and monitoring the overall campaign! We are delighted to be involved as both Rovers and Committee Members for UCC Movember 2020! We are delighted to say that UCC has raised over €15,000 so far for such an amazing cause and there is so much more to come! πŸ₯ΈπŸ“£β˜οΈ Donate here: https://movember.com/t/ucc-rovers-1?mc=1

Our Story

How we ended up where we are...

In a college where you have every option for every interest, something was missing. A place for fire-side sing songs, late night cups of tea, and true freedom to create your own sense of adventure. We put our heads together and realised, Scouts was the only place we could find all of these things!

We are now the second oldest Scouting Club/Society in Ireland, and one of several current members. Our purpose is to guide our fellow Rovers, displaced by college, and to also welcome all who have a love of the great outdoors and finally have the time to pursue it. (Also we love giving people s’mores to eat and fires to look at).

Our committee 2019/2020 consists of;
