Speech and creative drama classes. Giving your kid the gift of confidence is the greatest gift of all. These classes are fun, creative and educational.

27/06/2023

Hi all.

A quick note to say, I'm stepping back ( but not for forever) next year in speech and drama. My schedule is quite busy in my job as an adult tutor in September. I am so lucky to have met the most wonderful kids and families. We had the best few years and I got to know so many lovely people. Thanks for all the support. Hopefully, I will see ye again and stay in touch. All the best, Davina xx

Hi everyone. We will be working on St. Patricks day poems and plays today.

I will also be discussing rainbows and nature. So important for children to admire the beauty of a rainbow. I like this poem to help us thibk about the beauty of rainbows 🌈.

Best wishes to my students in Feis this evening and congratulations to my students yesterday evening. We had a great evening. Even though two students were placed, It's always good to see them going up and giving it a shot! Confidence is everything!

Hope everyone has a good day!

13/02/2023

Good morning: Reminder there are no classes for mid term. Enjoy the time off kids and families.

In the older class we had great conversation, still images and thoughts on bullying. We also improvised a scene.

We had yes/no chairs where the students were allowed to agree and disagree.

For example : Is it important to tell someone about bullying?

It was great to see,

Davina

In the younger class we went on a treasure hunt and other adventures with poems, songs and activities.

17/01/2023

Such a fabulous class today. We created commercials.

The students directed, wrote and acted out commercials for a magic product in the older class.

Some ideas were so amazing e.g a house in a backpack.

A magic oven.

What would you make as a magic product?
