Try This Delicious Gluten Free Granola Recipe
500g Cotter Farm Gluten Free Oats
100g Dessicated Coconut
100g Pecans (chopped)
100g Hazelnuts (chopped)
50g flaked almonds
150g Mixed Seeds
100ml Honey
125 ml of Rapeseed Oil/ Coconut Oil
200g Dried Fruit. (Sultanas Cranberries Raisins etc)
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract.

1. Preheat the oven to 170’
2. Place the oil honey and vanilla extract in a saucepan over a low heat and gently melt.
3. Mix the oats nuts and seeds together in a large bowl. Add the oil/honey mixture and mix well.
4. Divide the mixture between two large baking trays. Spread evenly.
5. Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 mins tossing every 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
6. Once cool add the dried fruit. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 months
7. Serve with milk/yoghurt and fresh fruit.

We take great care to ensure our oats are gluten free.
We are licensed by the Association Of European Coeliac Societies to use the cross grain symbol on our packaging. Our licence No is IE-047-001. This means there are less than 20 grains of barley, wheat or rye in 1 million grains of oats. Our tests have come back at less than 5 parts per million and 5 parts per million is as low as the test can go. This is all achieved by the way we grow the crop. We walk the crop of oats three times in the growing season and remove any grains that might contain gluten. The combine harvester used to harvest the crop of oats is only used to cut gluten free oats. All the equipment in our mill is only used for processing gluten free oats. No other types of grain are stored or processed on the farm to eliminate any risk of cross contamination.

We the Cotter family, farm outside the picturesque village of Castletownroche in North Cork. In 2022 We decided to diversify to add value to our tillage and livestock farm. Seeing the health benefits of oats and it’s versatility as a grain, we have grown a crop of gluten free oats on the farm, harvested it , dried it and stored it. We then process it into gluten free porridge in a farm building which we have converted into a mill. As a family enterprise we take pride in carrying out every step of the process from field to bowl

We are delighted to launch our new 100% Irish gluten free porridge to the market. As a family run business, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality and authenticity. That's why we take great pride in growing, milling, and packing our porridge right here on our family farm here in the scenic landscape of Castletownroche in North Cork. From the moment the seeds are sown in our fertile fields to the final packaging process, we oversee every step with care and passion.
