There’s Baltimore in the US and then there’s Baltimore, West Cork and here’s the iconic beacon on the lookout to Cape Clear and beyond. I’ve yet to visit the US city but I love our nearby seaside treasure. And close by is the wonderful Lough Hyne for kayaking and swimming.

October’s been a record breaking month for with over 60k packets cut, baked and delivered. I’d like to especially thank our customers and staff, Marian, Theresa, Kathleen, Conor and Owen in achieving this new milestone.
Today’s order is winging its way to our Dublin customer while we exported to retail stores in Austria, Italy, Belgium and Japan. The world has truly become a global village.

Easter weekend is fast approaching and we’ve a limited number of the Easter Egg tins available on our web store and in a few local stockists. Each egg comes with 9 chocolate enrobed button biscuits.

St.Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and our Spirit of Ireland Gift Tin makes a wonderful gift to give and receive. Featuring our original shortbread recipe biscuits in round and shamrock shapes, all hand cut in our West Cork bakery.

Our Persian Medleys are 100% made with Iranian pistachios and saffron. In fact our saffron is sourced direct from a grower in the north east of Iran. They really are an authentic taste of Persia.

This week, we started rolling out our new 2-biscuit catering packs ideal for hotels and event catering. Featuring our original recipe shortbread in a recyclable pillow pack, who doesn’t love the nibble of a buttery biscuit with a cuppa during your getaway break?

There’s no where else I’d rather be than weaving my way around the Mizen Head in West Cork, especially when the sun shines. And that has been a lot over the last few weeks. Hope you’re enjoying the holidays.

A sea of vanilla pecan Social Circles prepared today nearly 7 years to the day since they were first launched. Have you tried them? And can anyone remember our Christmas craft fair Kirsch cherry version?

Probably won’t get an award for my bow tying skills but within are our dainty selection of Small Wonders winging their way to someone special in Dublin.

It was all excitement yesterday when we made our first big mix of our forthcoming Christmas biscuit. Details coming soon but needless to say Gretta is sure you’re gonna like em!

How fortunate we are to have the best butter and cheese suppliers right on our doorstep here in West Cork. Indeed our family’s dairy farm outside Bandon town sends all its fresh milk for cheddar making in Ballineen. And then we produce our cheese sables with it.

It’s time to put the kettle on.

It’s been a busy Monday morning cutting our cashew nut and chilli cheese sables. Made with west Cork vintage aged cheddar and Bandon butter. Wonderful served with beer and wine. For later!
