It is a proud moment for us today as we received the amazing news of our Immediate Past President of JCI Cork being shortlisted as a Finalist in LIFT Ireland awards 2022 to be held next week under the 'Competence' category. ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

This has been possible due to the amazing work that everyone in JCI Cork has done over the past 1 year, the network that has been created and the recognition the chapter has gained externally through multiple government agencies and other NGO's.

In Anuj's words, "It's the mindset that makes you stand out from the crowd. A growth mindset is something everyone can develop, and when you truly accomplish it, is when you become like a true beacon of light that guides everyone around towards a common purpose. You can no longer be contained." ๐Ÿคฉ

We at JCI Cork wish Anuj all the very best and staying true to what we do the best, Develop Leaders of Tomorrow! ๐Ÿ’

In the last 2 weeks, we at JCI Cork have made an attempt to spread awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals as we believe the first step is awareness.

We thank all our members and our social media team who were behind this SDG Awareness campaign. A bigger and more impactful campaign for next year is being planned, so keep watching this space!!

We hope that our network has learnt more about SDG's. Please do let us know if you are interested to work with us for this noble cause! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

A full Sustainable Development report is attached in the link on our bio so you that you can see how much have we progressed and how can we make the world ๐ŸŒ a better place!

Photos from JCI Cork's post 13/10/2022

As part of our Sustainable Development Goals (SDGโ€™s) education campaign we will try to spread awareness about the SDGโ€™s and how can we make the world a better place to live in!

So starting off with SDG-17: Partnership for the goals

SDG 17 is to: "Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development". This goal has 19 outcome targets and 24 indicators. Increasing international cooperation is seen as vital to achieving each of the 16 previous goals. Goal 17 is included to assure that countries and organizations cooperate instead of compete. Developing multi-stakeholder partnerships to share knowledge, expertise, technology, and financial support is seen as critical to overall success of the SDGs. The goal encompasses improving northโ€“south and South-South cooperation, and public-private partnerships which involve civil societies are specifically mentioned.
