Joe's Amaretto 🥃

Anyone that has visited Elbow Lane probably knows Joe. He started working in the restaurant in 2017 as our bar tender. Since then, he has progressed to become one of our restaurant managers.

On his first cocktail list, he came up with The Sweet, The Smoked & The Sour. Which has been a mainstay in our cocktail list through the 7 years. Our house Amaretto is a key component in this cocktail.

This year, we decided to submit it in the World Drinks awards as we are such a fan of it.

We are so grateful to have won a Silver Award at the under the liqueur category, but we are even more grateful to have Joe as part of the team here. He goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional experiences for the guests that dine with us. He is an absolute credit to the restaurant and is a true representative of what the restaurant is all about.

It was such an honour to have received this award last night. We are so proud of the team for making it possible. We were over the moon to win the Cork category, but to win Munster is such an incredible achievement.

RESIST Anti-Imperial Stout ✊

This beer will be added to our taps this week in , and .

RESIST is loosely based on a recipe released by in Ukraine at the start of the recent conflict. They encouraged all brewers to produce it as a special as they are busy making Molotov cocktails, so our brewers did just that.

It is a full-bodied stout with roasted malt and a kiss of beetroot and is fittingly, courageously robust!

All profits are going to International Red Cross

Cool fermentation preserves it's natural lightness and fruit characteristic.
