There will be an open pairs event on Friday 19th, the team event on Saturday 20th and singles event on Sunday 21st.

Donegal Open 2023
Yesterday the Donegal Open 2023 was held in Jackson's Hotel, Ballybofey. With over 150 players that entered for the Youths, Ladies and Men's Open events. The standard was very high from the very start of all competitions. And a total payout of €1430 out in prizes.
In the Men's Competition Derry's Gavin Carlin was back to his best when he won the competition for a third time after he beat Donegal's Alan Hegarty in a very close affair when the first 4 legs went against the throw but Gavin stepped up his game and eventually won 7-4.
In the Ladies Competition Denise Cassidy retained her title for the fourth time when she played a very high standard and beat Valerie Rooney in the final.
In the Youth's Competition young Jack Porter following his good runs at the INDO youth competition beat a very strong Donegal Youth field competition of players and beat Gareth Brennan in the Final to win his first Donegal Youth title.

Also it was a great day for the Donegal players Alan Hegarty and Gerard McGlynn were beat in the semi finals and Adrian Devine was beat in the quarter finals also. In the youths competition the Porter Family were at it again with Shane Porter reaching the Final of the boys competition but unlucky to be beat and his sister Aoife Porter reaching her first girls final and unfortunately was beat by a strong winner in Rachel Ivers and younger brother Jack Porter also reached the last 16 of the boys competition
