SEC Chair, Gary Gensler wants to regulate crypto!

Gensler testified that "most" of the 6k crypto he examined are securities. He wants to force even DEXes to register with the SEC. He's also pushing for Stablecoin regulation.

Someone should tell Gary he's got an uphill battle on his hands. Crypto is decentralised, and DEXes operate without central control. Let's see how long it takes him to realise this.

Banks in Lebanon shut their doors as desperate people attempt to withdraw their money while the local currency drops by 90% in value. The stock exchange in Lebanon has also shut down amid widespread panic at the sudden drop in currency value.

This could never happen with Bitcoin. Banks and central governments can never stop you from accessing your Bitcoin. Bitcoin is decentralised and not governed or controlled by anyone. Let's hope the people of Lebanon find their way to the Crypto ecosystem quickly, before they lose everything!
