This beautiful fragment from Derek Walcott’s poem perfectly captures my return to creating for FLORE. I’ve been eager to share a new creation with the world and feel that energy flowing through me once more. I admit I’ve felt lost, as if creativity had become a distant gift, but this marks a new beginning in my long journey.

Today, 7th of September we celebrate Independence Day in Brazil. For those who don’t know, I’m Brazilian. I thought I’d share 5 things I miss most about my country.

- The warmth and joyful vibe
- Brazilian food (pão de queijo 🤤)
- Abundance of sunshine 😎
- Brazilian groove (Samba, bossa nova etc.)
- Afternoon coffee (it’s a thing, a bit like “afternoon tea” but different)
And I’m proud we have Jorge Ben Jor and Caetano Veloso. I listen to them almost everyday ☺️

Hello 👋🏻

It’s been a while since our last post. I was pretty much away from social media, enjoying a very long break at home with my family in Brazil. I’m back now, feeling refreshed and reenergized, ready for a new chapter with my little flower business.
I finally moved to the countryside, being closer to nature it’s a long time dream 💚

This week, I worked on my first order in my new place. It was a pleasure to create some gorgeous dried flower bunches for shop in Dublin.

I’m enjoying this gentle shift in the season to create planters for home with delicious spring bulbs such as narcissus, crocus, and muscari. They can last for weeks indoors, and while we can’t do much in the garden, that’s a lovely way to invite spring into our homes. I’m feeling spring in the air and can’t wait for brighter days 🤗🌼

I kept saying this for a while, but now it’s finally here 🤗 I uploaded some new dried floral designs to the website just in time for Valentine’s Day! You can Pre-Order online through > www.florecreations.com > and choose your delivery date at the checkout by writing it in the same place as you would leave your notes for a personalized handwritten message. You can choose between the 13th and 14th of February.
All orders will be delivered by DPD courier, as they’re the ones we trust. Local pick up is no longer an option since we’re not based in Dublin anymore.

A little bit of Christmas vibe🎄This end of the year has been very very different to me. I stepped away from the business and social media to recover from a burn out (which I am not completely over yet) and invest some time to reconnect with myself and the people I love. I’m aware this is such a privilege and I’m so grateful for having the support of my family 🙏🏻
I felt heartbroken having to made the decision to close my Dublin studio. I felt so lost and frustrated and for a while I thought that feeling would never go away. But Healing doesn’t happen over night, it’s a continuous process… so much has changed and yet it feels like nothing changed at all, like my passion for flowers and desire to be around them as much as I can ♥️💐

We love a beautiful black & white photograph 🤍🖤 Gorgeous bride Rhiannon who traveled from the States to have her intimate wedding in Ireland. It was a pleasure to be part of her special day!

My favourite thing to make with dried flowers has to be centrepieces 😍 An empty ceramic is like a blank canvas that you fill with colour, texture and your own emotions and this is what makes each work so unique and special.

I love thinking of exquisite things I can create with dried flowers. This year, I created my own version of a retro headband inspired by 20’s fashion trends ✨ What do you think? 🤍

There are so many possibilities with dried flowers. In this bouquet I didn’t use preserved roses. I played with different textures instead and used two different tones of preserved eucalyptus to create contrast.
