It’s the little vintage things that inspire, like this pretty French enamel mug. It’s in (re)use everyday as kibble scoop. Love this strong cream with maroon flowers against the blue and brown. Best of all the dog can’t destroy it because it’s not plastic !

There is a modest entrance fee which goes into back into the upkeep of this stunning museum. It’s big enough to while away an hour but small enough not to overwhelm the kiddos. If you have an all white room and it looks a bit cold and daunting and good way to warm up the interior design is by styling it with various soft furnishings, which can be changed up later, depending on your mood. Mix up fabric textures and fabric prints, drape them onto the furniture, it will bring the focus away from the empty walls and create a cosy layered inviting space.

Living through an attic renovation is a seriously messy business, the tidying never stops! I am gazing at this photo wishing my vintage kitchen looked as clean as this image right now. Needless to say it does not! That was probably the last time it was this organised, way back in February. The reason I am studying it is at some point I am hoping to get this wall with the black door to the utility shack removed to create more room in the kitchen area. It’s a bit tight for us to use together at the moment. I need to get planning this space . It’s an awkward area too.! DM me if you found any easy to use digital planning tools. Good morning. Today’s find is a rare piece! A large reclaimed French bentwood wall mounted coat hanger. It’s a gorgeous sculptural statement piece. This original piece is for true lovers of antique and vintage interiors. Elevate your space with character and style. This piece would look amazing in any interior area, an entryway, bathroom, kitchen, bedroom or indeed for a retail display.
Circa 1900-1930. In good antique condition with some signs of wear commensurate with age and originality.

I am going to miss this antique golden oak filing cabinet. It’s heading off to its forever home tomorrow. It’s going to have pride of place in a gorgeous inspirational music room interior. I love the idea of an entire space dedicated to music.
These beautiful antique pieces have many lives and that is so important for the environment. This piece of furniture has been in circulation since 1910 and is still in near perfect condition. This won’t end up in landfill unlike millions of low quality non eco friendly pieces of furniture every year. Look around to see if you can find an antique, vintage or preloved sustainable item before heading off to buy flat pack.

Love this place! We enjoyed a delicious high quality brunch with gorgeous interior decor. It’s very relaxing in here. Good value too. Love the blue walls and vintage mirrors. Some of which were from the on Cows Lane from back in the day.

Have you always wanted one of these gorgeous antique railway coat and luggage racks ?
They are so hard to find. This beautiful bentwood example was created by eminent furniture makers, “Fischel” in the 1900’s. It has its original label ! Good morning this one is for the photographers or camera lovers. Are you looking for an old box brownie? This fascinating one has arrived into the It’s a Kodak Brownie Target Six-20 , a box-type camera from the 1940s. It is based on the Kodak Target Six-20 which was produced starting 1941. The facade has a strong symmetrical geometric pattern echoing the ‘Kodak Girl’ stripe. The body is metal and covered in leatherette. This camera is being sold as a prop, but possibly could be re used by a specialist. It would make a gorgeous gift for a photographer. A wonderful addition for your Instruction manual included. Condition is commensurate with age and originality.
