⚡️New week, New Brew! ⚡️🍺
We’re happy to introduce our new brew: Crystal Clear Weiss! And just in time to kick off you week with something special, summery and refreshing 🤤
❤️🔥 The classic German Ale brewed with 30 percentage wheat but on its clear version. The yeast character of a classic Weiss (banana and clove) decrease here, resulting in a rounded and crispy wheat beer.
It’s pale, moderately hoppy and always a good option! ☺️
✨A couple of months ago we had the privilege of visiting and , among other wineries while on a wine visit to Georgia. Whilst their hospitality is exemplary, one could say the same for some of the wines we tasted.
Born in a traditional family of winemakers, Baia became the leading and one of the very first female winemakers in Georgia. The organic grape growing and winemaking approach, along with a combination of traditional and more modern winemaking techniques, her wines convey a purity and elegance that defies expectations.
🍷Tsolikouri, a refreshingly light and crisp white wine with plenty of apple and pear aromas
🍷Tsitska, Tsolikouri and Krakhuna, a full bodied dry white with aromas of persimmon, apricot and citrus. Both wines fermented in the tradiotin Qvevri and using wild yeast.
✨Tsinandali Estate is the cradle of classic winemaking in Georgia. At the beginning of the 19th century, Prince Alexander Chavchavadze introduced European wine-making technology to Georgia, and created a new standard of Georgian wine. Tsinandali Estate is in fact where wine was first bottled in Georgia. The Prince’s excellent wine collection of 16,500 bottles is preserved today in the historical Enoteca of Alexander Chavchavadze, within which is the oldest wine in Georgia, bottled in 1841 and named “the Saperavi of Tsinandali Estate, 1839.”
🍷Tsinandali Estate ‘Natella’, a blend of Mtsvane, Kisi, Khikhvi, Tsolikouri and Tetra is a dry white wine with well-pronounced fruit flavours of white fleshed fruits characterized with a frisky aftertaste. It is a unique blend, first ever exclusively produced by Tsinandali Estate and only in limited quantities
🍷Tsinandali Estate Saperavi is delightful, juicy red full of blackcurrant, plum and strawberry aromas and flavours with really well structured tannins.
All these wines are now in our wine list at limited quantities ✨🍷
We have recently listed these two wonderful wines from Monemvasia, a town as old as history in Laconia, Greece. Monemvasia, meaning the city of a single approach, due to its only access to the mainland by a tiny strip of land, has been associated with wine its inception in Byzantine times. Today, we are delighted to present these great finds to our guests, and ourselves alike😊
The Assyrtiko has a medium yellow colour with greenish tones, aromas of yellow fruits, peaches and citrus, in particular lemon and grapefruit. Acidity is rather high, as expected of an Assyrtiko, with a distinctive minerality, verging on a full bodied wine with a long finish. The Kydonitsa grape variety is very rare, indigenous, and very distinctive. Here we find some unique tropical fruits, as well as bergamot, apple, geranium and quince, the later being the more signature element of the variety. Full body, very pleasant acidity and a magnificent long finish. We first tasted these wines in March in Oinorama Athens and thankfully our friends are now importing them. Welcome to Dublin
Last night we were delighted to play our part on the launch of ‘Edible Dublin’, feeding the city in a time of Climate Change, in the Chq Building where we designed and executed a three-course vegetarian, globally inclusive menu for the event, with focus on creating dishes influenced and inspired by multiple cuisines around the world whist using locally sourced ingredients. Guests were also delighted to sample our newest brew, a Grisette style beer infused with Irish Honey, which was one of the many highlights of the evening.

Our Story
Urban Brewing is a unique concept, the first of its kind in Dublin. It combines a brewery with two kitchens and two bars along with a sunny terrace. Our aim is to offer an unmatched dining, drinking, and brewing experience, offering great quality products and excellent service in a unique environment.
For our Stack A Restaurant, we have kept the name of the 200-year-old vaulted CHQ building, formerly known as Stack A. An architectural masterpiece in its own right, Stack A is a smart casual restaurant suited to intimate small tables, social gatherings or larger groups up to 250 people. The layout of the vaults, each separated by centenary brick and stone walls, makes for an unrivalled atmosphere and setting. Serving both lunch and dinner, group menus, canapes and a lot more, it is a unique space to bring your relatives, friends or clients. Our dishes are influenced by our journeys around the world, and have been crafted using locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality.
The experience continues in our Taps & Tapas and Vault Bar, where you can share some tapas-style dishes and taste our exclusive, onsite brewed beers, have a tour of the brewhouse or venue, or simply drink your way through some of the most unique and limited edition beers in the world. Whilst beer is one of our passions, we have put just as much effort into sourcing our one hundred plus wines, coming from all over the world. We have also put together a most special Irish and international list of gins, whiskeys, liqueurs and other spirits which form the base of our own cocktails.
The core of our concept is a multitude of experiences within a larger experience of sharing, tasting and experimenting with new flavours.
