Many of you might know this beautiful little innocent face. We are so heartbroken to write this post but we are saying goodbye to our little guy today. For nearly 20 years he’s touched so many hearts around the world so we felt we should let you all know. Even though we’ve been preparing for this day for the last two years since his initial diagnosis it hasn’t made it any easier. We are just so heartbroken right now and we are going to miss him so much - anyone who’s met him knows he was one special little guy. There might be a slight delay in responding to some messages for the next couple of days as we grieve for his loss and we hope you can all understand. I wish I could say that our business would run as normal but we are only human and I know it’s as going to be a bit tough over the next while so please bear with us🙏🏻💔 A huge thank you to our incredible team who have been so supportive during this difficult time, we don’t know what we would do without you # # #

You are always one decision away from a life changing experience. Had I not met Steve at 2am in the Railway Club back home in Vancouver, none of this would have existed. Siopaella would not have been here because I wouldn’t have moved to Ireland had it not been for Steve. And had I not been browsing the Internet in June 17 2008 for rescue dogs, I might have never met Louis - he could’ve easily been adopted by someone else. I even remember emailing the rescue twice because I hadn’t heard any news. I was persistent - I knew Louis was meant for me😭♥️ So remember that - you are always one decision away from a life changing experience. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day everyone 💚💚💚 PS - today also marks mine and Louis’ 14 year anniversary of living here on this beautiful island 💚

Two weeks you guys, TWO WEEKS🙈♥️ the first part of December has honestly flown by - it’s been so lovely having my mum here too and judging from the in-store visits, she was missed by so many of you 😍 Hope you’re all enjoying December so far, and thank you so much for all the visits, online comments and sharing and liking - it means so much to have your support both in real life and here on social media😍 You are all allowing us to continue bringing you the best preloved finds 🙏🏻🩷 Happy December everyone ♥️♥️♥️

My mum is here finally 😍 Not sure if you all know, but she moved to Canada from the Philippines in the 1970s with only a suitcase. She met my dad, and opened the first Electronic Repair shop in Penticton, BC, called Guzman Electronics and traded successfully for 30 years. They had the best repair shop in their town and my dad was the most trusted in his industry - ask anyone who dealt with him back in the day. As for myself, I moved to Ireland (on Paddys Day of all days ☘️) from Vancouver to be with my better half, Stephen Ryan, who originally hails from Limerick. I followed him here and I noticed there were no consignment stores that bought, sold and traded designer handbags and clothing and hence Siopaella was born. It’s funny how history repeats itself – I come from a family of entrepreneur immigrants. My family and I have been blessed to both run successful businesses in Canada and Ireland and we were both immigrants in the country where our businesses were born. Even my brother has his own business - a super successful boxing gym called Teofista Boxing based in Calgary, Alberta. None of these businesses would have been possible without the support of our communities - and it only goes to show how incredibly supportive Ireland is when it comes to immigration. And despite what is being portrayed right now in social media and in the news, I firmly believe Ireland is a very inclusive society and we are so lucky to call her home☘️❤️
